Depth In Summer

Chapter 1

You drove up to your drive way as you pulled in. You were new to the neighborhood, you really didn't know anybody around you. You got out your car and slammed the door, as you walked up to your porch. You stuck your key into the door knob and opened the door walking in. You've been in the neighborhood for about two weeks, you smiled and sat down on the couch greeting your dog, Sam. He climbed on you and licked your face over and over. You laughed, petting him, pushing him off you. You were exhausted, because you just came home from work. It was about 5, and the sun was going down, you were hungry and decided you were just going to go out to eat. You went upstairs, and decided to change into something more comfortable.

--ANDY'S POV

I was sitting down on my couch watching one of my favorite shows, I realized it was getting late, around 5pm, I got up and walked over to the window. I looked down the street, and noticed a car that was driving down. I knew it was her. This was the usual time she got home, I didn't know where she was coming from, maybe work, school, maybe even her boyfriends house. Damn, I sure hope not. She was a newbie to the neighborhood, she moved in not to long ago, ever since she moved in, I've had my eyes on her. I pushed the blind and curtain aside as I looked out the window, staring at her. I watched the way she moved and got out of her car to how she walked up the stairs to the porch, I thought she was beautiful and flawless, maybe she could be my fallen angel. I sighed and walked back over to my couch, throwing myself down sighing. When will I finally be able to talk to her?

--YOUR POV

You walked into your bedroom and started taking off your work clothes. You went into your closet and got a pair of sweat pants out, and a band t shirt. You changed, and put your shoes back on. As you walked downstairs, you saw Sam barking at you. "You need to go outside baby?" You asked laughing. Sam barked and ran around in circles. "You're so cute, c'mon!" You said walking toward the back door. You opened the door and let Sam out. You walked to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, you grabbed a few grapes, and a water bottle, opening it, taking a drink. A few moments later you walked to the back door once again eating the grapes as you walk, opening the door letting Sam in. You locked it up, and grabbed your keys walking out the door, locking it behind you. You walked over to your car, opening the door. "Hey." You heard a voice behind you. You turned around to see a strange face. A man with short brown hair, tall, and bright blue eyes. "Hi." You questioned smiling. "May I help you?" You asked. "Yeah, hi, my name is Andy. I'm your neighbor. I saw you moved in, and I just wanted to come say hi." Andy said nervously grabbing his neck from behind blushing. You smiled moving your hair out of your face putting it behind your ear. "Well hi there, my name is Y/N, it's nice to meet you." You smiled. "It's nice to meet you too." Andy said. "So, I'll see you around?" You asked. Andy nodded. "Yeah definitely." He said smiling nervously. "Okay." You laughed getting in your car waving to Andy as you drive off. Andy turned around and smacked himself on his forehead. "You're an idiot." He whispered to himself.
