"What?"
Zap!
"Hey!" Gasped little Emily. She raced towards future Emily while giggling.
"Butterfly! Oh, I saw some pink ones."
"The people in your time were engaged with something called the internet. Welcome, Emily, to the outernet. You are now connected to a neural network. "
The scenery switched colors as little Emily stated, "green." The color green shine bright throughout their whereabouts. Emily called out, "blue!" In which the scenery changed again. Little Emily began to giggle at the sight.
But to her far left, little small lines were shooting upwards like someone were shooting them. Little Emily stared at them, "some lines are coming out."
"Yes Emily Prime, to the people of your time, our technology must seem like magic." Said Future Emily.
Huge circles floated around along with very long white lines. It itched along the skies like they were in a digital world.
"Brown and, brown and green and blue and green." The colors obeyed every color little Emily said.
"Th-That's only because our goal." Little Emily said after a few seconds
"For all of its magic, the outernet can be a sad place. Many people from its lower classes have disappeared into it's safe infinity, to never be heard from again." Future Emily had this robotic voice that sounded insensitive whenever she said things like that.
Little Emily didn't care. She pulled out her finger and began to draw a figure straight out of thin air. "Look, I drawed... a triangle."
Future Emily began to draw too. "I drew a snake boy." She stated.
"S-Some day, you have to - you have to not make a snake boy. Because yesterday I- I didn't see any snake boys." Little Emily began to shake her head while speaking. "But - But you made one."
"Yes." Was all future Emily said.
"Can I draw other g-g-golden round things?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Little Emily smiled wider as she shaked her small hips from side to side. "Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle."
"Okay." Future Emily didn't really know how to respond to that.
