It was 7:38 Friday morning. This week was pretty uneventful. London and Tom stayed over while my mother was doing something. Not sure what it is.

My alarm went off. There's nothing more depressing. I was interrupted while daydreaming about Kian. As usual. My phone buzzed.

Helpful Person: Hey, love. Ready to go?

I freaked out all over again. I can't believe he's mine. I love seeing him, hugging him, kissing him, and just being with him.

Me: Hey, baby. I'll be ready in fifteen minutes.

After doing my morning routine, I heard a familiar honk. I walked out with my backpack and said goodbye to my parents. I got in and kissed Kian on the cheek. He smiled at me.

"Morning, beautiful!" he said lovingly. I happened to look back and saw London and Tom

"We're going to the airport," London said tiredly.

"Looks like we aren't going to school," Tom chuckled. I was a little happy, I'll admit, but I knew I'd miss him.

We arrived at the airport after the forty-five-minute drive. We walked in and every step became painful. I kept realizing I was never gonna see London again. I wanna go to Los Angeles, but when would I ever go? I'M BROKE!

After ignoring the stares from the sight of a gay couple, a husky tool, and a tall blonde, we got to the line, then we all stopped. We looked up and saw this was where we had to part the waters. This was meant to happen. London was going to Los Angeles to live with his mother since he got kicked out. We all hugged him and said goodbye. I knew we'd see each other again.

Tom, Kian, and I got back to the car. After dropping Tom off at his house, I asked where we were going now.

"You'll see," Kian said with a smirk. We drove for a very long time until we arrived at a lake. We got out and sat on the part where the water met the ground. I somehow felt safe here. Not only in Kian's arms, but the sound of the waters. It was about 10:30 and it was partly cloudy. Kian looked at me and leaned in forward to a hug. He pulled something out of his pocket.

"Tristan Holmes?"

"Kian Small?"

"You... are my sunshine. Ever since I met you, my life has been complete, and there's no one else in this world I wanna be with." He opened my hand and put something in my hand. He closed it and I opened it back up. I saw it was a bronze ring. Wait, what?

"I'm not proposing. Don't freak out!" Kian laughed.

I laughed shyly as I spun the ring around and saw there was a pulse engraved all around it. I looked at him and saw he was smiling. I love Kian more than anything in this world. To be honest, if he WAS proposing, I would have said yes in a heartbeat.

Suddenly, a ray of sunlight broke the clouds and shone on the lake.

"Look what you did," Kian chuckled.

"It's not my fault." Kian completes me. Ever since I met him, my life has been in an upward spiral. Now I started wondering if I did the same for him.

"Kian?"

"Yeah, hun?"

"Am.... I enough? I like the feeling when I'm with you, but I don't wanna limit you because of my selfishness."

"Close your eyes."

I did what he said.

He leaned in and pulled me into his arms. Then he whispered in my ear, "I will love you until the day I die. You make me the happiest man on earth, and I never want you to leave me."

"Kian!" I squealed before I kissed him on the lips.
