One day, in a tree far far away, lived a Prussian prince named Gilbert who was currently stuck. "Ehhhhh!" he complained loudly swinging around. "This is so unawesome!"

"Are you okay?" A timid voice asked from below. Gilbert looked down to find a young peasant boy with blond hair and blue eyes covered by thin wire glasses. The boy seemed to be carrying a basket full of flowers and some food.

"NO I'M NOT OKAY!" Gilbert shouted. "I'VE BEEN STUCK HERE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG WITH A TOTALLY UNAWESOME VIEW!" The Prussian swung around angrily before staying still, defeated.

"Are you albino? and your accent is kind of weird. You're not originally from around here are you?" the peasant boy asked sweetly cocking his head and continuing to stare up at the struggling teen. Gilbert just looked down at him with an equally confused and questioning face.

"What... YES I'M ALBINO AND PRUSSINA, BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT. GET ME OFF THIS UNAWESOME TREE AAAAAGGHHH!!" with that yell the peasant boy sort of squaled and ducked a little.

"Okay, okay i'm sorry!" he shout-whispered putting his basket down. "How did you even get stuck there in the first place?" the blond asked beginning to climb the tree skillfully and never once removing his eyes from the otehr male.

"I wanted to see the baby bird in that nest." The albino pointed up at the top of the tree where there was a brown nest sitting delicately. It was perched in a way that made it seem as if though a slight breeze could knock it down.

"My name is Matthew Williams by the way!" the blue eyed boy said softly offering up a smile. So softly, that the prince had to ask 4 times before finally hearing.

"I AM THE AWESOME GILBERT!" THe prince said attempting and failing to raise a fist upside down.

"That's the prince's name" Matthew observed complimenting him. At this, Gelibert's eyes flew open in shock. He didn't know. Everyone he had evern known in his entire life had either critized him or bowed before him. It was one of the reasons he always snuck away; so that he could just be normal and laone. "Gil...Gil!" the blond said, having climbed next to him. "It is alright if i call you Gil right?" he asked shyly offering his hand.

"Only if i get to call you Birdie!" the albino exclaimed brightly remembering the earlier shriek from the shy blond.

"Ehhh, okay.... I'm Canadian by the way," he remarked beginning to help the prince untangle his limbs. "My family moved here when I was younger. They thought that there would be better jobs here. My Papa says that he misses all the frenchness though." Matthew said it quietly, his eyes glazed over as he began thinking of the place he used to call home. They were finally able to sit Gilbert up on a branch.

"Hey birdie, will you help me go look in the nest?"

"Only if you agree to be my friend!" the Canadian exclaimed with a huge, welcoming smile on his face. At this the Prussian blushed and muttered a little okay. They climbed in concentration, Matthew saving the Prince a few times from falling. When they finally reached the nest, they looked over to find a little small yellow chick looking up at them.

"Oh mein gott!!" Gilbert squealed.

"It's soo adorable!!" the blond agreed.

"I'm going to call him Gilbird!" Gilbert said; gently lifting the yellow fuzzy blob from the nest. The little bird squeaked in agreement to his new name. Suddenly, the Prussians branch cracked, and broke from the tree. "AHHHH!!!" "SQEEEKK!!" Both the Prince and the bird fell; hitting the ground with a loud thump.

"Oh my maple! Are you okay!?!" Matthew shout whispered as he looked down.

"Mmmmmfffff" the Prussian answered. He had landed on his stomach, holding the bird up as to show it was okay. Matthew giggled as the Prussians stomach growled.

"Are you hungry?" he asked politely.

"Mmmmffff"

"I will take that as a yes." The Canadian climbed down the tree and helped the prince stand up.
