MIN YOONGI
Jimin moved swiftly and elegantly across the room, his feet light on the shiny wooden flooring. His body was glimmering with sweat and his eyes were trained on his reflection in the giant wall mirror opposite to him.
There were four more dancers dancing a contemporary routine with Jimin, Jungkook being one of them, but Jimin clearly stood out with his gracious and controlled movements.
Yoongi thought the same, as he sat on one of the chairs at the back of the auditorium, well hidden in the dim lighting. He admired the boy swaying rhythmically to the music and took his time in studying his features, something he did everytime he sat at the back and watched the dance practice.
Jimin only had a pair of comfortable shorts on alongwith a loose oversized tank top, giving Yoongi a nice view of his perfect body.
He noticed there were a few other students as well, sitting in the front and being an audience to the boys on stage.
One of them was Song Eunhee, Jimin's girlfriend.
As soon as Yoongi figured that she was present too by recognising her long dyed blonde hair, he frowned. He could see that Jimin's eyes kept drifting to her as he danced and that was enough to break Yoongi's heart. She cheered from the front while Yoongi gloomily sat in the back, not letting anyone know of his presence.
Eunhee was definitely one of the most popular girls in school. She was undoubtedly pretty and stood out from the rest with her unbeatable confidence and strong personality. She was a high achiever in academics, just like Jimin and like him, she was also in the dance club. Everyone, girls and boys alike, admired her for the way she was, especially for not being arrogant despite of all the attention she got. She was a real sweetheart and everyone agreed that her and Jimin were the perfect match for each other.
Yoongi on the other hand, loathed Eunhee. His envy knew no bounds when it came to her. Their perfect relationship made Jimin even more unattainable for Yoongi.
The news of Jimin dating the girl had broken him down and since then things hadn't really been going in his favour. Well, they never did, but once the relationship became official, Yoongi could do nothing but sulk in the corner while watching the two get all lovey-dovey with each other. Everyday he wished that he could somehow replace her. Even though she was a girl, Yoongi could not help but grudgingly admit that she was way more prefect than him. She had the looks, the grades and a great personality. All of which Yoongi didn't think he had.
But he still had hope. He pledged to make Jimin his own no matter what.
Clicking one last photo of a smiling Jimin on the stage in his phone camera, he exited the auditorium to place a small bouquet of red roses in Jimin's locker before the latter returned from practice.
