I've been driving by this place often, heading straight to work as I make my way by. The front entrance flowers are always quite nice. The beautiful, silver glow of them in the morning is just stunning.
But that's not exactly what I like about this place so much. It's the fact that a certain young man works here, who is more stunning than the flowers will ever be.
He comes outside to water the flowers every other day, always wearing these pitch black gloves as he does so. Although most places like this would be seen as dark and gloomy to most, it's quite pretty on the outside.
I want to meet this pale boy but there's only one problem, he seems quite distant from the world. Maybe it's because he works in that funeral home.
"Mike! Hey Michael! Earth to Michael!" I jolt awake as my friend Oscar shakes me back into reality. I stare at him blankly, still a little dazed. As soon as I look at him a harsh slap is felt against my back. "Ugh dude," I groan in pain. Oscar laughs as he takes a seat in the chair in front of me.
"Break is over, you gotta snap out of it and get back to class, nerd." He smirks as he gets up, pulling at my arm to get me up as well. Just a few more hours before I can drive past that funeral home I always go by.
We make our way back to our work office and sit again, waiting for our last meeting to start. All I can really think about at the moment is that boy. That boy. His hair is so black, almost like charcoal. It falls over his face and eyes, making it hard to see his facial features. Nonetheless I still find him quite appealing. A little too appealing.
This doesn't make me sound creepy, right?
