Boyfriend for Rent

Part 1

Kongpob, this year turned 25 years old, working at famous company as CEO and has everything one man could wish for. He has a handsome face with his tanned skin and even though not much but he still has a bit of muscle on his body, and being a CEO make him has lot of money. And that's the reason many of girls from both of his company and friends, even stranger girls fallen for him, and wishing they could be his girlfriend. In the past, Kongpob was someone who they called playboy because he always got himself a new girlfriend every once in month, this made every man of his friends or co-workers jealous of him. But, the truth is, he just couldn't feel love for his past girlfriends or someone, that's why he was think if he accept every confession from girls, he could develop some feeling for them, but in the end of month he couldn't so he break up with them.

Because of this too, Kongpob getting bored with his love life. And now, after he didn't care much about girls, some of gay men try to hit on him every time he go to some club or just sitting alone in restaurant or cafe. Kongpob is a straight man, so he didn't feel anything for their efforts to flirt with him, but he didn't chase them away either. He just don't pay attention at all to them, making it even worse because he literary ignore them.

So, failed with his love life, Kongpob decided to just focus on his work alone, always come earlier to company and go back home late. It wasn't really a problem because he lives alone and has no girlfriend so he didn't keep anybody waiting or ignore them. He has a best friends but because of his workaholic, he only spend his time with them on weekend, just Saturday because he want to sleep all day on Sunday.

His best friends is M, a kind-hearted guy but a little coward and love to play games with Oak, his another best friend. Oak is someone you could say annoying guy, because he can't stop talking once he talk, and he has an easy-going personality. Another one is Wad, someone who is prefer to be alone and has his own world. But, despite his look-cold outer self, he is a guy who treasure his friends. The four of them, including Kongpob is currently working at different company to each other, that's why they didn't get much time to meet and hang out like they used to in university.

Kongpob was busy typing and checking some documents on his work desk when his phone ringing. He is going to ignore it and go back to his work but the sound of his phone didn't stop so he has no choice but to pick it up with an annoyed face.

" Yes? Who is this? "

" Kongpob? It's me, M "

Kongpob frown and take a look to his screen phone once again to make sure, and it was really from M.

" Oh, what's up M? "

" Sorry, are you in the middle of work now? "

" Nope, I'm in my house laying on my bed got nothing to do until you called me, so what's wrong? "

M could hear the sarcasm and irritated tone in Kongpob's voice, he felt bad and little scare for disturbing him in the middle of day.

" Um, sorry Kong "

Kongpob take a deep breathe and sighed. He was irritated getting disturbed from his work but he can't stay mad either to his best friend.

" Forget it. So why did you call me so sudden M? You know it's still mid-day and weekdays, I've no time to play "

" Well, nothing much but I have something and I thought I should give it to you "

" What? Can't you give it to me on Saturday? "

" You're right, I'll give it to you this Saturday then, at usual place and time then. Bye Kongpob and sorry for disturbed you, see you "

Before Kongpob could say anything, M already hang up on him, leaving Kongpob speechless himself. He then turn off his phone so no one could bother him anymore and go back to his work.

When he go back to his apartment, Kongpob remember what M said to him this noon. He was curious with what is it that M want to give him but decided it just an unimportant things again like usual and not to think much about it. Little did he know, it will be a little part and beginning to his important love life story.

For my dear readers, I'm sorry I couldn't update my Forever Love and Always Here for You fanfics because I've been so busy with my thesis, and my teachers want me to finish it as soon as I can *crying* 😭😭😭

Still not finished yet, but I got the idea to write this story all of sudden, it will be so much wasted if I don't write it down. Take this as my apology, okay 😅 *run and hiding on the corner*

Okay, I'll be back to my lovely thesis now, maybe I'll update another story next month or so, sorry〜〜 🙏🙏🙏
