Chapter 6///First Kiss

Liza POV:

I could barely focus in any of my classes. All I was thinking about was David and I hanging out after school. We were going to be practicing the kiss part which I was so nervous for. I had never even kissed anyone but I'm sure David has. He's had so many girlfriends that are so much prettier than me. Ugh, I wish he knew how much I think and care about him.

David POV:

RINGGGGGGG

Finally, I was heading out of this dump and got to go home with Liza. I had been thinking about her all day. I walked out into the crowded hallway filled with eager teenagers all wanting to get out of the school. I waited by the double doors for Liza. People kept walking by but I still couldn't find her. What if she forgot and just got on the bus. What if she changed her mind and was too nervous to come. What if she went home sick. What if she was kidnapped. Alright, David, you're overthinking this way too much. Then I saw familiar curly brown hair and her perfect smile. I waved and smiled. Her confused face cleared up when she finally saw me. 

David: Hey Liza Koshy!

Liza: Hi David Dobrik!

David: Ready to go beautiful

OMG, WHY DID I JUST SAY THAT. I'm so stupid. She's gonna think I'm a creep. Now it's going to be so awkward. Ugh, I just ruined the whole night.

Liza: Hahaha yea

"I don't think he meant to say that. He was probably just being nice." Liza thought silently to herself.

We walked the rest of the way to my car in silence.

Liza: Woahhh! You drive a tesla!

David: Hahaha yea. Rich parents I guess.

Liza: Omg you're so lucky.

I came over to her side and opened the door. 

David: After you m'lady.

Liza: Thank you, thank you.

I got in on the other side and turned on the radio. It was "iSpy" by Kyle and Lil Yachty and for some reason, we both knew all the words. I blasted it to the point where I felt like my ears were going to start bleeding. I looked over at Liza and she looked so cute dancing in her seat while whipping her hair back and fourth. I wish I could just kiss her now. Omg, I need to stop doing that and just get in my head that she doesn't like me!

We finally got to my house many songs later. Liza looked at me with her mouth wide open.

Liza: Dude I didn't know you lived in a mansion

David: This is not a mansion. You should see the house next door lol.

Liza: Oh please. Every house in your neighborhood is a mansion.

David: Whatever!

I went over and opened the door for her once again.

Liza: Thank youuuu!

David: Don't mention it.

We walked up to my door together and went in talking about Mrs. Bruce's test and how we both failed it. 

Camille: Hello David!

David: Hey this is my girlfrie- FRIEND Liza.

Camille: Oh hello Liza. I'm Camille the maid.

Liza: Nice to meet you!

David: We will just be upstairs working on some homework.

I glanced at Liza and gave her a little smirk. She half smiled back then looked down at her shoes.

Camille: Alright, I'll  bring up some snacks in a little bit.

And with that, we both went up into my room. She looked around and I gave her a little tour. Then we sat down on my bed and I played some Netflix in the background. We started talking about stuff and tried to get to know each other better. Then we started talking about the kiss.

Liza: I have never kissed anyone before.

David: No way. Really? But you're so pretty.

Liza: Hahaha thank you!

David: Anytime.

Liza: Wait...have you ever kissed anyone before.

David: Actually, you may find this shocking but I haven't.

Liza: Hahaha what.

David: I know, I know. I'm so lame. It's embarrassing.

Liza: No no I think it's adorable.

Then it got silent. But it was a comfortable silence. Peaceful.

I looked into her big brown eyes that are so easy to get lost in. I slowly put my hand on her waist pulling her closer to me. She practically shuddered with my touch, I could tell she had never done this before. I picked her up and put her on my lap so we were sitting face to face. I wrapped my arm around her waist firmly letting her know I wasn't letting go anytime soon. She put her arms around my neck. Now our faces were literally inches away. She then bit her lip looking down at mine then back into my eyes letting me know she was more than ready. I slowly leaned my face in and she did the same. We both closed our eyes gently before our lips touched gracefully. I felt fireworks go off instantly. It's like her lips were the missing puzzle piece to my unfinished puzzle. They fit perfectly with mine. It was like I was kissing an angel. I never wanted it to end. We both pulled away and looked at each other in amazement.

David: Woah.

Liza: Woah.

We sat there for a couple more seconds trying to comprehend everything that just happened. 

I then got up off my bed and grabbed her hand to pull her up with me. 

David: Don't you think we should do it again just to really get it down perfectly.

Liza: Yeah I mean we want it to look good on stage.

I grabbed Liza's waist again and pulled her into me. I forgot how short she was so I lifted her up so we were eye level. Her legs were wrapped around mine tightly and my hands laid gently on her lower back. Our lips came together making that magic spark once again. I decided to get a little risky and slowly licked her bottom lip for entry. She accepted and I slowly put my tongue into her mouth and she did the same. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. After 30 seconds I put her down softly and we went back to my bed to watch more Netflix. Then Camille came in with cheese and crackers for the both of us. I put my arm around Liza and she placed her head on my chest. This was the best night of my life.
