(KATT’S POV)
“How much do you guys wanna bet that they are making out right now?” Katie asked as soon as Blake and Blade went outside. I slapped her arm and she glared at me. “What?! We were all thinking it!” she shouted.
I rolled my eyes as everyone nodded or murmured in agreement.
A knock at the door startled us. In came two men, one had black hair and the other had bleach blond hair with black tips. They were walking hand in hand and had a pretty girl following them.
I’m guessing these are Blake’s uncles and cousin, me being me, I forgot their names.
“Where’s Blake!?” the one with black hair asked.
“Out back, her and my son are sorting things out,” Andy said.
“Who’s this?” the one with the blond hair asked, nodding in Katie and I’s direction.
“These are Blake’s friends and roommates she met at Warped a few years ago. Katie and…?” CC trailed off. Katie looked at me then back at them.
“Katt,” she said.
“Can she speak?” the black haired dude asked.
“Yeah, she is just shy. The moment you make her laugh, she will open up,” Katie explained. I growled, actually growled. That was another way I got my nickname. Damn, she knew everything about me.
“Did she just growl?” the pretty girl asked. She was still hiding behind the men, so I couldn’t see any part of her except for her face. She was pale, and had on thick black eyeliner. Her hair was such a light blond, it looked white and went down past her shoulders. Her lips were perfect. Plump, red, and kissable. Oh, if you haven’t quite guessed it yet, I’m bi, but that is the only thing Katie and Blake don’t know about me.
“Yeah, that’s one of the reasons why she is called Katt,” Katie said. She then poked my stomach, causing me to meow.
“Bitch,” I mumbled, causing everyone to laugh and my face to heat up.
Just then, Blake and Blade walked in, hand in hand.
“Are you guys giving Alley-Katt a hard time?” Blake asked. She then looked at the men. “Uncle War! Uncle Ant! Snow!” she yelled before releasing Blade’s hand and running to them, hugging each one of them. So the pretty girl’s name was Snow? Pretty name for a pretty girl. Me likey.
“Is Austin coming over today?” Blake asked Andy.
“No, they are in the studio today, working on the album. Why?” he responded.
“Katt,” she said, looking at me. I looked up. “How much does a polar bear weigh?” Everyone groaned.
“ENOUGH TO BREAK THE ICE!” Katie, Blake, and I yelled while laughing.
“She speaks!” The woman sitting next to Ashley said.
“Yes, so she does. Oh, shit. I forgot to introduce you guys,” Blake says, face-palming herself. “Okay, you obviously know BVB, then there is Meri, Sammi, Melody, Ella, Lauren, War, Anthony, Snow, and Blade,” she said, pointing to each person.
“Nice to meet you,” I squeaked.
“Dad, Blake and I are were thinking we could all go to the beach,” Blade said.
Everyone said something in agreement or nodded, so Blake, Katie, and I all went back out to Rifle, my truck, and went back to the apartment.
I quickly put on my black tankini, but noticed the scars on my thighs were visible. I quickly slipped on some shorts before pulling my short hair back into an almost non-existent pony tail.
