The confession

Baahubali entered into his inner chambers after a long day in the court. Devasena sat at her usual place at the window sill, admiring the moonlight shine in glory at the Mahishmathi empire. But her interest wasn't in the moon that was hiding behind the clouds, but in the Lord of her life. She lay still waiting for his return .

He closed the huge doors and stepped closer to her. Her heart kept pounding as he held her and pulled her close.
"You were waiting for me ?" asked Baahubali innocently.
"No I wasn't" came her reply
"Okay then. I'll leave."

She turned and with a teary eye said, "I need you for life. Never leave me."

He held her by the waist and spoke in his deep yet tender voice, "Death shall do us apart Devasena. I'm yours for life and my love for you is as unmoving the Vindhyas.

She stood mesmerized for a minute amazed by what he had said to her.

He snapped his fingers and waved. "Should i repeat it again or.."

Her big eyes welled up with tears looked towards him. He immediately wiped her tears and said, "I cannot bear tears in your eyes.
Be it of pain or happiness. This is the last time you see them."

She sank into his embrace and admired how affectionate he was.
