I stood in front of the mirror. Staring blankly at the reflection. The girl in the mirror seemed drawn, her face pale and her eyes seemed to have glazed over. The once clear blue eyes now nothing but a dull grey. Her hair, was a mess. Her once dirty blonde hair covered in blood which matched the stains on her face. Her hands had blood stains on them too. Shocking how things can go from perfect to terrifying so quickly? One minute you could be there and the next.. not.

Every time I close my eyes, I see it. I see The cars. I hear the cries for help. Desperation. But this time, something is different. I'm watching it happen. Yet I am in control.

The sirens seemed to echo in the distance. The voices of the people around me, barely a whisper. The birds had stopped singing their song. The whole world came to a stand still as I was in a heap on the floor.

It was him.

He did this to me. The man I was going to call my husband, did this. He hit me with his car.

His hand were the first to find mine. "I love you, I love you so much. I'm so sorry, it was an accident." His voice was laced with panic as he just realised what he had done.

My mind couldn't focus on what was happening now, but what has happened. The crash. The day we first met.

The fruit stand was the one which drew me in the most. The lovely colours painted the shelves of the stand, the colours of the rainbow. As I went to turn around this man bumped into me, as the collision happened the market stall seemed to fall apart. Oranges and melons rolled down the street but when we managed to get ourselves on our feet an apple was in the gentleman's hand.  My eyes landed on his as I took the apple and gave him a smile. Isn't it strange how we met is also how our story ends.

I was about to marry the monster, which I have been warned about my entire life.
You don't take apples from strangers. Looks like I'm the Snow White in my story.
