Jaime's POV
I don't think Alexis was too impressed with the fact that she's bunking with me. We normally get on well seeing as we're best friends but I can't control my mouth and nearly let slip that I had feelings for her. Well done, Jaime. Well done. Her facial expression made it clear that she wasn't happy. It was a mixture of shock and disappointment. I felt sad and angry at myself for making her feel that way. I headed back to the bunks and started to unpack my stuff. The bunk I was sharing was a bit bigger than they normally are so hopefully we're not completely squished but I'd love to hold her in my arms. Woah, Jaime, where did that come from?
"Are you just going to continue daydreaming or are you going to shift?" I turn to see Vic staring at me.
"What... yeah, I'll just move, erm..." I stutter.
"You have feelings for Alexis don't you?" Vic says to me.
"Wait, what? Where did that come from? I don't know what you're talking about." I say, tripping up on every word.
"It's ok bro, she has a crush on you so it's fine." Vic smiles at me, pats my shoulder and walks to the front of the bus. Alexis likes me? Wow. I can't believe it. I've been dreaming for this for so long and now it's come true. She likes me! It's as if things are staring to go right.
"Jaime, what are you doing?" I turn to see Alexis. God, she looked so beautiful. Her brown straight hair clashed perfectly with her pale skin (you'd think her skin would be tanned considering she's from Mexico) and stunning purple eyes. I long to be her boyfriend so I can love her till the world ends (I already love her so I'm halfway there).
"Erm... nothing, nothing, I'm not doing anything, why?" I ask her. I could not have sounded anymore stupid. Alexis looks at me strangely and raises her eyebrow at me.
"Just curious. I'm jus going to unpack and lie down." She says and stifles a yawn.
"Ok, cool. I'm probably going to lie down too. I'll be in our bunk if you need me."
"Alright." I head off to our bunk and lie down. I hear some shuffling and a muffled bang. My mind runs wild and I picture Alexis hurt. I jerk up and forget that I'm in a bunk and I hit my head off the top.
"Ahh, shit." I hiss and hold my head.
"Haha! I knew you'd be the first one with a head bunk injury!" Alexis says loudly and points to me. I hear laughter and see that Tony is standing in the doorway.
"Haha, funny. Now I'm definitely having a nap." I say and draw the curtain. After a couple of minutes, I hear the curtain get drawn back. I open my eyes to see Alexis hovering over me.
"Would you be able to move over a little?" She asks me softly.
"Yeah, sure." I shift myself over and she slides in next to me. She wriggles around for a bit trying to get comfy. I decide to stop her moving by wrapping my arms around her and pulling her close to me. She instantly stops wriggling and stays really still for a few seconds. I also tense up, wondering what her reaction would be. After a tense moment, Alexis starts to relax against me. I let out the breath I was holding in and start to relax too. My eyes start to get really heavy and before I know it, I'm falling asleep. Whilst holding Alexis in my arms. That sleep was the best one I ever had and it was all thanks to my best friend? But is she my best friend or more? Only time will tell.
~Decided to have Jaime's POV so you could all have an idea on what he's thinking. Will they ever eventually get together? How is Soundwave going to go? How is the band going to handle it? All shall be revealed in the next few chapters!
