Spikes/Kevin POV

We wait hidden in the trees. Snacks are often quietly being handed out, I mean come on it's a bunch of teens what do you expect. Derek, that Bastered, walks down the street, an Innocent looking girl on his arm. The walk into the movies across the street and we wait, knowing that he'll be out to take a smoke soon enough. Then we'll make our move.

After about ten minutes Derek walks back out and lights one. Quickly we exit the car and cross the street, pushing him discreetly into the ally. Once he's there I send a hard blow to his abdomen. He kneels over.

"this should tech you to not mess with my girl." I hiss in his ear. "It may have been months ago and I may not fully have her yet, but you hurt her and now you are going to pay for that." And with that we start the payback.

Ashley's POV

One week latter:
I shove that last of my close into my site case. Sighing as I look around the now empty room. In a few hours I will be in my new dorm with a new roommate. I smile at the thought, not at the though of a dark haired man being there.

"Ash come on we're going to miss you're fight." Lisa yells from down stairs. I grab my stuff and head down, hugging my mom and dad good bey.

It's time to start a new life.

Spikes POV
all my stuff is officially stuffed into the bed of my truck. Waving to my brother through the rear view I speed off.

It's time to start a new life.

I am the first one into the room I'm sharing with someone -who I just found out is a girl, and I can't help but hope. Surprisingly all of her stuff is already here, and shoved into the right side of the room. Respectfully I take the left side and start to unload, thankfully we're on the first floor. Once I'm all moved in and decorated I settle into my bed and close my eyes waiting for a well deserved nap.

This is before Kevin got to the dorm.
----Ashley's pov----
I sigh as I settle into my seat on the airplane. At least I got a window seat....right next to the bathrooms of course but who am I to complain. I pull the provided headphones out of their case and plug them into the small tv attached to the back of the seat in front of me. I turn it on an choose a show to watch, Bones looks alright and I sit back and prepare to binge watch this for the next couple of hours.
----one long ass flight latter-------
I only completed about ten episodes  before we landed and were in New York. Note to self, watch the rest of that series. I exit the plane after getting my carry on and head towards the bag claim. With my bags in tow I head out of the airport and onto the crowded streets. I wave down a taxi and tell the driver which campus to drive too.
"Where are you from miss?" The drive asks in a New York accent.
"Washington" I reply. "You? Which part of New York?" I say to him. He smiles
"Brooklyn" he replies "what part of Washington?" I smile back at him.
"Deer park" I say
"Okay why New York?" He says keeping the conversation going.
"It has one of the best film academies in the states, New work film academy." I say proudly. The driver smiles and nods.
"Ah yes, my daughter is going there, perhaps you will be roomed with her, her name is Annabeth." I smiled at him, but remembered the email I got this morning.
"sadly I got roomed with a guy, but maybe you I'll have a few classes with her" I smiled, I couldn't help hoping it was Kevin, it's been almost two months now. The driver smiles back at me as he pulls into the campus parking lot.
"Well have a great life" he says as I get out with my stuff.
"You too" I say to him and turn towards the front door. I take a step forward and take a deep breath in. I walk through the front door to see a mostly empty room, considering that school doesn't start for another month. A girl stands at the seat in the front and smiles and waves at me, before waving out the window as well. I walk over to her.
"Hello I'm Annabeth" she says, and I realize why she was waving out the window. She has long dark brown- almost black hair that reaches down to her hips.
"Ashley" I reply holding my hand out and shaking her hand. She smiles at me. She then turns around.
"Which room?" She say.
"404" I reply. She turns back around with a key in her hand and hands it to me, she also gets a map for me, and a piece of paper, and hands the map to me and the paper after writing her number on it.
"Call me some time, then we can hang out." I smile and nod at her.
I follow the map until I get to the right room and unlock it and enter the cream colored room. I set my stuff down on the right side of the room and decide that this will be my side. I unzip my suitcase and the top drawer and in pack all my stuff into it, my roommate can have the three other drawers. I then grab my other suitcase, this one filled with nicknacks and in zip it, placing the contents around the room. Once that's done I decide I should get some food so u head down to the coffee shop on campus and get myself a bagel and a chia tea.
