Being a girl here has never been easy. But you know have to be Daddy's little girl, do whatever Daddy needs all of us do what that man says. He has a plan for his good little girl he is going to pawn me off on the sheriff's son like some whore cause that's all I ever was. I was a burden that needed to be free so all 5'4 of me is gonna go out and party and be 26. And only 26 not the victim I knew I was. I don't know how much longer I can take it, I hate what i have become. I threw on my red chuck tailors, white shorts, and red crop top. I don't know where I'm going but if it means I'm not in this house that's perfect.
"Momma I'm going out" I yelled running down the stairs, she looked at me like I had grown a third head. "What?" I asked.
"Where do you think your going?" She asked standing from her sewing chair.
"Out and away from all of you. I'm a big girl Momma I can take care of myself." I opened the door and walked to my car. Of course  in my father and his cop buddies pull up.
"Going out." I shouted, he pulled me out of the car making me look at him. All his cop buddies did nothing to stop him; he's always been ruff with me. My parents also like to act like they don't know about Davis.

Davis got out of the car and began to walk towards us, that's when I lost it nothing was stopping me from going out even if I only went to the bar in town for a beer I needed something more than a beer right now. I ripped my arm away and climbed into my car speeding away. Half way into my friend Sandra texted me. I caught my breath before answering.
S: Party at mine come threw gurl.
D: On my way!
I personally hate texting so I always try and keep it short and sweet. I wasn't hard to make my way to Sandra's, normally it takes some convincing to go against what my parents want and they strongly disapprove of our friendship. I'm tired of being this good girl I've never wanted to be. But the goody-goody thing followed me threw out school. Every one still considers me to be that innocent good girl. College was very different it gave me room to not only be my own person but go wild. My parents eventually heard about this and made me come home half way thru senior year causing me to have to finish online. That's when my Father pushed Davis on me, saying he'd be a good influence to get my head straight. Davis only pushed me closer to Sandra and her brother Nate. Nate is the worse influence, but he has a good heart. He's part of the town MC. He never brought them around when I was there though.
I pulled up to Sandra and Nate's seeing only a few cars on the street so I parked and walked up to the house and walked in. There were only a couple people there most of which I knew from high school they waved at me as I tried to find Nate or Sandra.
"Hey girly you made it." I heard Sandra say from the sliding glass door. I looked up at her and smiled, taking the hand she extended to me. "So there is gonna be a lot of important people here tonight for Nate. Just stick to one of us lots of guys from the MC will be here in like five minutes including our lovely Nate."
"Alright, but is this outfit ok I left in a rush? I was actually going out drinking." I told her as she handed me a beer and sat down next to me at the patio table.
"Your fine but why were you in a rush? I wish instead of going out alone you would call me." I loved Sandra like a sister she was always there for me always ready to listen.
"Davis he's a creep and my Dad keeps bringing him over. I just cant do it anymore San, he did it again." I opened my beer and drank it. She looked at me shaking her head I knew what she was gonna do she was gonna tell Nate. Nate would kick Davis's ass again which only made him more persistent. "Don't tell Nate that only makes him worse."
"Don't tell me what? What's wrong Daisy?" It was Nate he was behind me I didn't want to turn around let alone tell him about Davis. But of course Sandra told him before I could sugar coat it.
"Her Dad keeps bringing Davis around didn't say what he did exactly. You interrupted that, all she said is that he's a creep and he did it again." I mean not saying that she was wrong I just didn't need him to blow his lid again.
"Daisy why won't you look at me?" Nate asked, he moved my chair so it faced him. I never let our eyes meet. But Nate was a persistent fuck that liked to be in control of everything that hurt someone he cared about.
"Why don't you tell the man what he needs to know Darlin'. He means well." Someone said I  looked up at him, he didn't look familiar. His blonde hair and ocean eyes were soft but only for a second. He was gorgeous, that man had a jawline from the gods.
"Daisy please, I'm not gonna get mad if its not that bad I wont kick his ass." Nate chuckled trying to get me to open up. "They watched him this time even my father." I stood to my feet and dipped my hands in the pool; using the water to whip off the makeup around my neck. The bruises were fading seeing as he did them a couple nights ago.
"Make me a promise, don't say anything tonight. I just wanna have fun tonight." I told him walking into the house I was gonna need more than a beer to forget this. Not only did I just tell Nate but I also told some of the important people behind him tonight was his night.
The night passed on without anymore talk of Davis or the bruises I had recovered. We were now all sitting around the fire pit. The select few of us were drinking and talking, I was wedged in between Nate and the MC's VP. He was quiet except for when he laughed; I liked his laugh.
My phone went off, I already knew it was the sly devil sitting across from me Sandra had be sending me hand signals all night.
S: He's hot right?
D: Who there are like a million guys here? God I hope u don't mean your bro. lol
S: Gurl why are you acting like u 2 haven't been sizing each other up all night. Names Thomas club name is Shadow.
D: You caught that. Ya ok he's hot idk if he's my type he's to quiet
"Daisy tomorrow night is a go." Sandra said, my little rebel had a plan for us to go out and have some fun. "Do you know what your wearing?" She asked smiling like a kid in the candy store.
"Yea not a damn thing." I said smiling and drinking my beer. We were going to a forest party on one of the locals land. I needed this party I needed to express this feeling of embarrassment I learned in college the only way to get people to drop a topic is to start them on a new one.
"Where do you two think your going tomorrow night. We are supposed to be at the club tomorrow." Nate said glaring at us. We both knew that you don't make plans without telling Nate. But he wasn't gonna ruin this I needed this time away from everyone I needed to forget.
"Nate, your not the boss of us plus Daisy needs this before she has to go back to work next week. Plus why are we needed, we are no one's old lady." Sandra said glaring right back at her brother.
"You have to be there....the both of you. I'm doing this for Daisy" He said looking into the fire. I looked up to him I didn't know what he meant at first. "I know what he did to you at the last forest party we all do. No matter what you say no mater what you do I'm gonna kill him my MC is my family just like you are and we won't let anything happen to you not anymore." I knew he meant well but I never wanted to talk about it. I wanted to be mad at him  for announcing it that way. I stood up and walked over to the pool.
"Things will get better. Now that Nate is one of us and your important to him. That makes you important to us." It was shadows voice. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me close. "No one will ever hurt you again." I again nodding my head spoke allowed."The only way to make that happen is to kill him, he's the sheriff's son. Let alone the fact that they all know. No one can stop him."
I along with a couple others I stayed the night. I was safe here, that was a lot better than at home. When I woke up I looked around the living room everyone was sleeping except Nate. He was in the kitchen making coffee, I slid off the couch and walked over to him.
"Mornin' cupcake." He said kissing my hair, he was the older brother I always wanted Nate was my protector.
"Mornin' brother. You wanna help me make breakfast?" He shook his head no.
"You have clothes here right? We are all going to breakfast then for a ride before tonight." He said handing me a mug of coffee.
"You can't kill him. His dad is the sheriff , he's in training for the FBI." I told him looking at the counter tops. "My dad knows what Davis does to me, he doesn't care." I whispered but I knew he would hear me.
"He's dead tonight. Now go get ready you can use my bathroom Sandra's is a mess. "Was all he said before dismissing me. To be truthful I had painfully grown used to Davis's attacks.

I threw on some black shorts and top I stole from Sandra then ran down the stairs and only Nate and Shadow are here. He had his cut on and two helmets, "What's goin' on?" I asked slipping on my shoes.

"Your riding with me darlin'. We just gotta make a few stops." He said I nodded my head and took the helmet from him. He walked out the door before me and waited by his bike I gave Nate a hug and whispered to him."Your making me ride with him?" I asked looking up. He kissed my head and patted my butt pushing me towards the door. "You'll be fine baby girl. He will take care of you." I looked at him nervously and walked over to Shadow.

We didn't go far, we stopped at a house at the end of a cul-de-sac, it had a big yard and a three car garage. I hopped off so shadow could pull in, I've only seen the garage and this house was amazing, the yard was from a dream. "This your place?" "Yea I need to shower and see my son before we go." He took my hand and opened the door. I stopped In my tracks. "You have an old lady then?" He laughed. "No, no I don't. My mother takes care of him when I'm not around. Ill introduce you to her she's gonna love you Doll." We walked into the kitchen were an older women playing with a little boy.

"Momma this is Daisy." Shadow said, kissing her head. "Hello love. I'm Thomas's momma. You can call me Zoe or Momma Zoe that's what the boys at the club call me. " she spoke opening her arms. I gave her a hug and took a seat next to the beautiful little boy. "This little boy here is Knox." She said giving him another toy.

Me and Knox moved to the floor and played with his toys. He began telling me about first grade and his friends at school. "Knox you are talking that poor girls ear off give her a break." Zoe said to him, the poor boy looked like he wanted to cry. " Oh no Knoxy you can keep talking. Don't cry sweetheart." He ran over to me and wrapped his little arms around me, he was such a sweet little boy.

When Thomas came down the stairs Knox was sitting in my lap playing with my hair. "I see you two have grown fond of each other." Thomas said Knox ran over to him. "Daddy can I go with you and Daisy. Daddy I like her." I stood up and kissed his head. "Well aren't you the sweetest."

"Buddy you can come to the club tonight for dinner." Thomas told him. "Thomas you know he missed you. You were gone for a year. Please son spend time with your boy." Zoe shouted, I took Knox from Thomas. "Come on baby lets go play outside."

About twenty minutes later Thomas came out of the house smoking a cigarette looking defeated. I sat on the sidewalk next to him waiting to see if he wanted to talk about it. He smoked half his cigarette before he opened his mouth. "I was in for a year, cops caught me an a couple others hauling guns. My mom took care of Knox when I was away but she is sick, so I have to step up and be a dad. Fuck I don't think I can do it especially when I'm doing shit for the club. I have to go to Columbia I cant take my kid. And truthfully I don't trust the boys to take care of him." He continued smoking and putting his head down. "If you need it I can help." He smoked his cigarette and smiled at me. "Thanks Darlin'"
