I almost choked on my toast as Jungkook and Jimin plumped down next to me during breakfast.
"Morning." Jungkook chirped, nodding towards everyone on the table. Krystal narrowed her eyes at him as Yuta raised his eyebrows questionably.
"What do you two want?" Yuta asked for me as he eyed the boys flanking my sides suspiciously. Baekhyun looked up briefly over the rim of his book before rolling his eyes, quickly returning his attention to the pages.
Jungkook smiled sweetly at Yuta and Krystal before speaking up, Jimin staying quiet. "We're here to give Gabrielle her training schedule for the following weeks." He spoke lowly, making me choke on the toast after all.
"How do you mean?" Krystal asked with a frown.
"YoongiisgoingtogiveGabriellesomeextraprivatelessons." Jiminie squeaked next to me.
Baehyung snorted as he diverted his eyes to the stuttering boy next to me. "Yoongi is going to what?" He giggled.
Jungkook rolled his eyes at Jimin before answering. "Yoongi is going to give some extra private lessons at our mansion. He thinks it's necessary if Gabrielle wants to be able to be in Mrs. Bul class next year."
Krystal's frown grew deeper as she glanced between the two boys. "How's that? Gabrielle is doing perfectly fine, I've heard."
Baekhyun and Yuta nodded in agreement while Jungkook chuckled softly. "Ah noona." He sighed, making me glare at him. "Have you been lying again?" He cocked his head to the side as he averted his eyes back to my friends. "Gabrielle here hasn't been doing too great. She still needs to learn how to make fire, even. She can only bend it when Yoongi makes it for her."
My eyes widened as I took a deep breath to protest, but was stopped by Jungkook who stomped on my feet under the table, hard.
I hissed in pain as my other friends eyed me with a confused expression. "Oh..." Baekhyun breathed. "We thought-"
"Well, you thought wrong!" Jiminie spoke with the same high-pitched voice.
Damn it, where was Christian when you needed him the most?
"Gabrielle..." Krystal started as a small smile crept onto her face. "You didn't have to lie about it! No need to feel ashamed." She winked while Baekhyun shot me a comforting smile. Yuta remained suspicious though as he narrowed his eyes even more at the boys.
"Why didn't Yoongi come tell her herself?" He asked lowly.
I noticed Jungkook stiffen next to me, but of course he was quick to make something up. "You know how he is." He shrugged.
"No I don't." Yuta fired back.
Jungkook chuckled softly while Jimin shuffled nervously next to me. "The boy is extremely lazy. No way he was going to come over and do it."
"So you guys do it for him? What are you, his bitches?" Yuta continued his interrogation.
I noticed Jungkook tensing up, the vain in his neck now becoming prominent. Before he could lash out I quickly placed my hand on his thigh. He immediately relaxed under my touch, turning around to watch me with wide eyes. I didn't meet his gaze as I smiled softly at Yuta. "It's okay." I told him. "I'm already glad Yoongi didn't decide to give up on me and wants to put the effort to train me some more hours at his place." I softly continued.
Yuta nodded slowly, his harsh gaze on Jungkook softening slightly. "Very well." He sighed. "Is that all then? I bet you have somewhere more important to be, right?" He asked with a nod towards the infamous BTS table.
