Jonathan

She was so fucking beautiful.

Her mouth was slightly parted as she slept in undisturbed happiness. Quiet snores left her, muffled since her face was buried against my neck. Her body laid soundly on my arm, cradled next to mine.

As of last night, I was officially her boyfriend and I was forever thankful. After an unforgettable evening of meaningful conversation, a familiar, warming dinner, and clumsy dancing, Luke offered to clean the bakery afterwards. We went home soon after we helped to take down the string lights and moved the tables back. Macy  fell asleep almost as soon as we arrived home and I fell asleep beside her in my bed.

I fell in love with her far before last night, but I seemed to fall in love again and again everyday.

"Babe," I whispered, admiring her scent and beauty as the sun shone through my bedroom window. "Wake up, beautiful. I have to work."

She groaned and shook her head. Her lips rubbed against my neck as she moved and I struggled to find the motivation to get up.

"Macy," I cooed. "The boys are probably expecting me to be online by now."

She let out a soft hum as she rolled off my arm, allowing me to finally stand up. I sat up and quickly went to the bathroom, relieving myself and freshening up.

Macy was no longer in bed when I left the bathroom. The bed was made and I walked down the stairs curiously.

I found her refilling Baby's bowl. A smile shone on her face when she saw me.

"Good morning, boyfriend," she smiled brightly.

"Is that going to be my name now?"

She got up and jumped around, grabbing my hand and spinning. "Boyfriend, boyfriend, boyfriend."

I tapped my finger against my chin. "You know what I could do now that we're dating?"

She shrugged her shoulders.

Her hand was still with mine and I twirled her around before pulling her against me and connecting my lips with hers.

She smiled against my lips and her arms wrapped around my neck. The kiss was short, but it was one I would never forget.

It was special in its own simplistic way. Macy and I weren't somewhere new. We weren't watching fireworks, we weren't out to a fancy dinner, we weren't in an unfamiliar place.

We were home, surrounded by everything that we appreciated. We had a house, we had Baby, we had each other. That's what made it special.

"Did I ever tell you how perfect you are?" She asked with a smile.

"Yes, but why don't you tell me again?"

She laughed. "Your friends are waiting for you. Go do your job."

The boys were still preparing the session when I joined the call.

"Way to be on time, Delirious. You showed up twenty minutes late," Marcel commented.

"You're still setting up, anyways. How's the move, Evan?"

Evan let out a huff of annoyance. "It's taking forever, but I'm getting there. How are you and Macy?"

"We're officially dating now."

The call erupted into cheers. Evan was the only one I had ever actually met in person and everyone knew that. The rest of the boys didn't know much about me and for me to be so open about this part of my life was astonishing to not only them, but to myself as well. They congratulated me, knowing that this really must have been an important event.

"And," my voice wavered for a second, not knowing if I should take the risk. "I'm going to throw a party for once. One whole weekend and you're all going."

The call was silent then, until Tyler let out a quiet "what?"

"I think I'm ready to finally meet you guys and my house is slightly large enough for you all to stay. Maybe I'll throw it in a month. How's that sound?"

"That sounds fucking fantastic, Delirious, but are you sure you're comfortable with that?"

"I think I am, Craig."

Our actual session didn't start for another twenty minutes. The boys couldn't stop talking about next month. They were already trying to plan the date.

There was a quiet knock at the door. "Jonathan."

Macy came in with a plate of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. She set it on my desk and kissed my cheek.

"Macy, you didn't have to," I smiled. "How about I take you out to dinner tonight then?"

The background chatter of the call quickly became louder. I forgot to mute my mic.

"Delirious, tell Macy I said hi."

"Evan says hi and the other boys are kind of just screaming your name now. Come here."

I gently pulled her onto my lap, tilting my head towards the mic and putting my headphones on her.

"Hey, Evan. When's the next time you'll be visiting?"

I couldn't hear anyone's response so I waited patiently.

"You're kidding," she breathed out. "That's amazing. I can't wait to meet you all. I'll let you guys get back to whatever you were doing now."

She took off the headset and handed it back to me with a big grin.

"I'm going to take Baby out for a walk. I'll be back later. Call me if anything happens."

I hugged her before she left.

I loved this already. I loved being to love her freely. I loved holding her, kissing her, talking to her. A relationship was far from my mind when Macy first came here. I was still absolutely amused by the fact that I first figured she'd stay the little "good girl" neighbor. Who knew she would turn out to be the perfect girl?

The boys and I played for two and a half hours after that. I'd have to do a shit ton of editing since all they could really talk about was the party and I didn't want that in the video— and they wouldn't either.

Once I had finished breakfast and washed the dishes, I got a call.

"Jonathan, I'm at Luke's bakery. Do you want anything?"

"You and a blueberry scone."

She laughed quietly. "I'll be home soon then."
