I woke up and sighed. Another day, another bunch of gems to patrol. Hey, they call me crazy, but sleeping definitely helps when you have to deal with gems from Earth. Eugh. I stretched, then got off of the cold, hard floor on which I was laying. I'll have to give a suggestion to Leg Pearl to add beds to these cubbies. Hopefully she can get in contact with Moon diamond.

Hello. Name's Topaz. I served in the war between the Crystal gems and Home world. I was a gallant warrior among the others! I didn't make history like that defect Quartz, but hey, I did my fair share.
UGGH! I'm getting offtrack again!
I now serve as a warrior for that defect Quartz I talked about before. She serves Emerald, the 'son' of White Diamond. Childish, I say. But I can't disrespect them. I'd be shattered!
Anyways, it was a day like any other. Wake up, get ready for my patrol. On Emerald's colony, he allows gems to wear clothes. It's odd, but many gems do so. He also allows fusion amongst gems of different kinds. I like it here, although things can get hectic.
One time, Sun Diamond herself came to the colony. She was trying to conquer it! How pathetic! She even ordered a bounty hunter named Yellow Topaz to try and poof Quartz and Emerald himself!
Luckily, the plan failed, Sun Diamond and her warriors were poofed and bubbled.
Another time, Moon Diamond arrived to the colony and tried to take Leg Pearl away from us! How dare she try and take our own pearl, especially one that is free?! Moon Diamond was thankfully bubbled and Leg Pearl dealt with her almost identical pearls.
What was I talking about?
Oh, right.
The day.
Walking outside of my cubby, I looked around. The colony was in rough shape after the conflict with Sun Diamond. Bismuths and buff Quartz soldiers worked on repairing the ancient pillars. There was a lot of work to be done, since Emerald owned over 50 colonies. He had bargained with Blue Diamond and gained control of half her colonies. This was the biggest colony, though. It contained Emerald's mansion where he lived with Quartz. I could tell the two had a relationship. I didn't have much of a relationship with anyone besides Topaz 1. I'll have to tell you all how we got the nicknames '1' and '2'. I'm Topaz 2. Actually, I'll tell you about my trip to Earth.
So, it was several human years ago. . .
