When we made it to our final stop Effie walked out and said, "Okay, children time to go." Peeta and I both got up. I flattened my skirt and wiped my nose. We quietly walked out of the train. We saw everyone in the Capitol cheering. I just kept walking, when Peeta just smiled and waved. I then realized this may be a plan to win. The kind people always have their way through. His plan might end up.....killing me. I then just copied him. I smiled and waved to the crowd. They all just kept cheering. We made it to our room. Man, was it beautiful! It was so big, and modern. But, one thing creeped me out. There were butlers everywhere. They were wearing red suits, and had their arms behind their back. I saw a feast on the table. It looked delicious. I never had a meal close to that!

I sat myself on the bed, and fell onto my back. I stared at the ceiling wonder What did I do to get here? I then realized Katniss had given me a mocking jay pin. "It'll bring luck." she said when she gave me it. I grabbed it out of my skirt pocket and squeezed it in my hand. I started to cry. Quietly. I didn't want them to hear me though. I didn't want to come off as a wussy. Right when more tears came, Peeta walked in. "Hey-" he said, but my tears cut him off. "Hey, what's wrong?" he said as he sat on the bed. I sat back up and slid the pin in my pocket. "I was just thinking about my family." I muttered with violent breaths in between every word. "It's okay if you wanna talk about it." he said. "No, it's okay. It's just-" I said, but my face fell forward into his chest. All of my tears came out and into his shirt. He wrapped his arms around me, and sat his head on mine..

When I was done, we walked out of the room into the dining area. "Come. Come while it's warm." she said. Peeta and I sat next to each other. I looked at the food, and it was deer. It reminded me of Katniss. I was about to tear up, but I felt a hand on my arm. I looked over and saw Peeta. He smiled, and I smiled. "Okay, time for more tips." Haymitch said as he grabbed a wine bottle and poored it into a glass. "Never go for the cornacopia." Haymitch said. "It's a death trap. That's what they want you to do."

The next day was, what I like to call "First Impression Day". We met our stylists. They all had a weird look. Except for one. Cinna. He was a nice man.

I was put into a nice red dress, and little pink heels. My hair was curled beautifly. I looked around for Peeta and saw him. He was in a black tux with a red outline. He looked handsome. I totally forgot if he was just in a plan to look nice.

Our cart, was the last cart. It was black and red. "District Twelve!" the anchor yelled. The crowd cheered loudly. Peeta grabbed my hand. I realized what he was doing. At the same time we both held our hands (that were still together) in the air, and smiled. The crowd cheered even louder.

I looked ahead and saw people getting off their carts. When it was our turn, Peeta and I bothed walked out and waved. I put up three fingers, put them against my lips, then out at the crowd. I saw some people crying with joy. I smiled along with Peeta and walked away,
