Nick's POV:
I sat back in my chair, watching Tommy breathe heavily as he slept.
He's soo cute when he sleeping...HHHNNN *yandere intensifies*
(I'm sorry) *technical difficulties*
I inched my way to his bed, loudly, but I knew no one would mind.
Well, well, well, lover boy. Seems Juliet has passed out.
"No. Just asleep." I reminded myself.
Same difference. And,  Are you sure? Have you seen his charts? How stupid can you be?
No, I'm not allowed to, Drez." Was I going crazy, too? "Besides, I don't know where they are."
Try the end of the bed.
I got up to check, rounding the end of the bed I saw a chart case. "Well, I see what you mean, an empty chart case. Thanks for showing me the wonders of a hospital, Drez." My sarcasm kicked in.
Nuh-uh. Try the nightstand.
"You know it's a good hospital when they have nightstands." I looked in the drawer. "Look, convenience, Tommy's charts."
Take a peak at what Tommy never told you.
"His records are here, too?" I glanced at every paper in the drawer.
Looky, looky...right here.
"'Subject: Thomas. Status: low?
'Thomas' lungs/ organs are very weak, and have been for his whole life. Each day his inner organs get weaker, and now they are as bad as they would get when he should be passing on. It won't be long now, where his insides finally give up. Once Thomas is in his final sleep(coma) he won't wake up.' What?! Why would Tommy hide this from me?" Tears fell down my face in shock.
To spare you. He doesn't want anyone to worry. He's been on medication since he was 5. And, he was in the hospital for 9 months after he was born. How would anyone break this kind of news to someone? 'Hey..I'm dying, just so you know.'
"The whole reason I came to look at this was for the charts, way to get me off track, Drez." I smirked.
Me?! I-I- ugh..
"Let's see.." I focused on the charts. "'Status: awake.' Ha! See? He's not in a coma!"
Guess again.
^bbbbbeeeeeeeepppp^
The endoscopy machine buzzer went off, telling us something went bad. (Sorry info is wrong🤷🏽‍♀️) The doctor rushed in to see what was wrong. He didn't say a word.
Suddenly, the nurse rushed in, she carried a tablet under her arm.
The nurse turned to me as if I walked in on her naked child, her face showed pure hatred. She grabbed the papers from my hand immediately and put them on the floor. Her hands touched my arm and pushed me out the door.
This nurse clearly didn't like me. This was not the nice nurse.
