THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY STORY. I WOULD LIKE TO UPFRONT GIVE CREDIT TO THE WRITERS OF SUPERNATURAL BECAUSE THERE IS OCCASIONAL DIALOGUE AND SCENES FROM THE SHOW. THIS IS THE SHOW FROM THE VIEW OF CASTIEL. I DO NOT OWN SUPERNATURAL OR THE IDEAS BEHIND SUPERNATURAL, I AM JUST PRESENTING THEM IN A DIFFERENT WAY.
COMMENT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IF YOU ENJOY IT OR NOT. I CAN NOT FIX PROBLEMS IF I DON"T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE AND I CAN NOT MAKE IT MORE APPEALING IF YOU DON"T TELL ME WHAT YOU DO AND DO NOT LIKE. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY.

I was once faithful to my father, a man that I believed in whole heartedly without question. I did as I was told and I did it with a smile on my face. I felt no need to be rewarded or have my deeds explained to me. I simply did as I was told and I felt honored by doing so. But all that changed with a mortal ...
I was sent down from heaven on a mission to bring about the vessel to Michael. Dean Winchester was to let Michael inhabit his body so that he could fight Lucifer in the upcoming battle of good verses evil. I knew what I was supposed to do and I was determined to make it happen.
I found Dean and his not so desirable brother Sam, but they were not to happy to be found. Though Sam was excited to learn about the existence of God, Dead was not as willing to just accept the truth for what it was. If we had come for Sam, things would have happened a lot differently, but same was a vessel for Lucifer and I now understand why.
I showed myself to Dean many times, giving him as much information as I felt that he needed in order to take on the task at hand that was presented to him, each time he refused and I could not understand why. I believed so greatly in these humans because God had asked me to, and they chose not to give their faith back in return.
“I am the one who held you tight and pulled you out of hell,” I had informed him, hoping that he would be grateful for my actions.
“Yeah well thanks,” Dean answered me as he attacked me with the demon blade, noticing it did nothing to phase me, as I am not a demon.
That was when that oversized man attacked me from behind. I was not there for him, so I had to put him asleep.
“We need to talk.” I informed him.
“What did you do,” Dean asked me, moving over to check on Bobby.
“Your friend is fine,” I informed him, “Now can we please get on with this.”
“Who are you again?” Dean asked me, holding the knife still inches in front of him as if I was going to attack.
“I am the one who held you tight and pulled you out of hell,” I told him once again, because he clearly did not understand me the first time.
“Why’d you do that,” he asked me defiantly. I was not sure why he cared for my reason. He should have been happy to have just been alive, but nothing is ever good enough for humans.
“Because that was God’s will and we have a job to do.” I answered him to the best of my abilities without tell him too much.
“Well I am not interested in your job,” Dean spoke angrily through his teeth. “You can go ahead and tell your God that I am not his little puppet just because he signed my train ticket out of hell. You hear me.”
“You will change your mind,” I informed him, before leaving him alone in the warehouse at which were were standing. I’d had enough of him for one day.
Dean had no faith. I was going to have to find it for him. The world depended on it.
____________
“Is he ready to accept his duty to God?” A voice broke through in my mind, a place that was not only mine these days.
“Not yet.” I responded.
“Why not,” the voice boomed loudly. “You have a job to do Castiel.”
“And I will do it,” I informed him. “You just have to give me a little more time, you can’t expect him to accept this out of nowhere.”
“Dean Winchester is your responsibility Castiel, do you understand?” he asked me sternly.
“Yes Sir,” I responded, already clear of my duties. I did not plan on letting anyone down, I just needed a little more time.
“I will bring you Dean Winchester,” I said firmly. “You have my word.”
Who would have known back then what my word was truly worth.
