School Starts

Percy's POV

     I walked down the hallway to my locker while laughing with my best buds Jason,Leo,Chris,Grover and Nico

It was the first day of school and I was Sophomore and was at the top ranks in the school.Yup we had ranks.I stopped at the office telling my friends that I had to get my schedule.I opened the door and walked in.An elderly women with brown hair sat at the desk while on her laptop.

"Ahem"I said which caught her attention,"Umm I'm here for my timetable"I said

"Name"the lady asked in a dull voice"Perseus Jackson"I said.the women pulled out a paper and handed to me.I walked out the door and I was bombarded with questions,practically the whole school was standing there.

"What did you do during summer Percy!"

"How ya doin"

"Date me!"

Were just a few questions I heard,I began making my way to my locker where Drew was standing. Her black hair was in I what was supposed to be curls but it just looked like a huge mess,makeup caked her face as usual.

"Hey baby,I missed you"She said.I rolled my eyes,Drew thought that we were dating so i just decided to play along with it to not make her angry.

The bell rang before Drew could talk any longer i ran off to math class

Annabeth's POV

I waited for everyone to clear the hallway because I wasn't..well in the popular crowd.I adjusted my wide frame glasses and began walking to math.I opened the door so quietly no one could hear me just the way i liked it.I had always been one to hide in the shadows.

I began walking to the back of the class nervously while hugging my textbooks to my chest,I had almost made it to the desk until someone's foot stuck out causing me to trip.My books slid to the ground and I let out a short yelp before falling.I was expecting to hit the ground but a pair of steady arms caught

my hips.I looked up and saw a guy with blonde hair,crystal blue eyes,and a long scar that ran down the side of his face.

"T-thank you'I stuttered

"No problem"He said and walked off to his desk.I began picking up my books and walked to my desk and sat down.

I took out my notebook and a pencil before starting to doodle,drawing pictures of owls.I adored owls,they were amazing and smart.

The door busted open,i jerked my head up to see who it was,standing near the door was a guy with messy raven black hair and beautiful sea-green eyes.

I recognized him as Percy Jackson the most popular kid at this school.

All the girls began screaming as if he was a celebrity,I mean I get that he's handsome and all and even I had a massive crush on him but you don't have to make such a big deal about it.

I rolled my eyes and went back to my doodling.I didn't really have any real friends.Only one person showed kindness to me and that was a girl named Thalia.She was Percy's cousin and hanged out with his group.But now the guy who had saved from the ground was one of the people who even acted nice to me.

Percy walked over to me."Hi is this seat taken"He asked

OMG Percy Jackson is actually talking to me I thought breath Annabeth breath,you don't want to make an idiot of yourself in front of Mr.Popular.

I didn't trust my mouth to speak so I just shook my head.He game me a crooked grin and my heart fluttered he sat down next to me.During class all the girls were glaring at me I just grinned to myself.

When class ended I began packing my books.

"Hey do you uh want"Percy began to say before the kid with blonde hair that saved me from falling came in front of me.

"Hi want to sit with me at lunch"He asked

"Um sure"I said

Percy's POV

I was about to ask Annabeth if she wanted to sit with me and my friends at lunch  but that jerk,Luke walked in front of me.

I glared at the back of his head and walked out the door and to the lunchroom.

I got into the food line and paid for my food. My usual group of friends sat at a table in the middle of the cafeteria.I walked to them and they all greeted me. The group consisted of Nico,Grover,Thalia,Clarisse,Jason,Leo,Chris,Piper,Juniper,Silena,Charles but he went by Beckendorf,Travis,Connor,and Katie.

We all were considered the "Popular Kids". "Hey man"Grover said while giving me a smile. He was sitting next to Juniper who was his girlfriends.

Most of us were in relationships,

Grover with Juniper,Clarisse with Chris,Silena with Beckendorf,Travis with Katie,Jason with Piper.

I sat down next to Nico and began eating my excuse for what the school called food. Drew walked over to our table.

"Heeeey"She said while smiling,"Mind if i sit with you" I rolled my eyes at Drew."Well actually I would mind,now why don't you go run off to your stupid wannabe friends"Thalia said. Thalia despised Drew the most.Drew ignored her and sat down next to me anyways.

"Guys I think I want to go outside to eat"I said,they all nodded in agreement and we walked out of the room and onto the grass outside.

We settled down under a large tree and began talking.
