They had just finished a case. Sherlock and John went to the pub to have a pint.

"Why does the music have to be so loud? John tell them to turn it down!" Sherlock shouted.

"No Sherlock, it's a pub, they won't turn it down!" He answered.

Sherlock grumbled, "Fine."

"Let me guess," John huffed, "it's interrupting your thinking?"

"Yes. Obviously." He blurted. "Why did you ever come up with this idea! It's diving me insane! I need a cigarette!"

John calmly repented, "Sherlock, huh, it was your idea! Don't even think about smoking, you've done great! It's been three months. Don't break."

"John." Sherlock looked at John with his puppy dog eyes. John peered down and started smiling. It was that smile. That smile he made when he's mad, and Sherlock knew what would come next....

"Ohhhhhh are you two having a little domestic?!?" Sherlock was suprised at what he heard. It was not John. Who was it? They both looked up.

There was a tall, muscular man right on top of them almost. "Did you not get your girlfriend the right dress size? To big purhaps. Or..." The man seemed to be talking to John. But Sherlock had thought this over before; if John and him were to be in any type of gay relationship, he was definitley the Man. Well he didn't quite clear that up with John yet. Anything about being gay would make him angry, so Sherlock lets it be for now.

John stood up. "You Bastard! Why can't anyone ever get that me and my friend here are, in fact, not a couple?!?" The man was approaching John. John started advancing toward the man. The man's big hairy fist came up....

"John!" Sherlock screamed. John stopped. He looked over.

"What Sherlock?" He asked very angrily.

"Do as they say John." He stared into John's eyes. The man he longed to hold. The man he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

John face went blank. "What?" John was confused. "We aren't gay Sherlock." He had more concern than hate on his face now.

"John. Huh. John." Sherlock choked. "I've been meaning to say this for awhile. With Mary and all of that time I "died". I never got the chance to say. I guess now I just couldn't help but to speak, before you hurt yourself again. John...." He looked up at John with the most adorable, and hurt face on the planet....."I love you....and every time you hurt yourself over this stuff. It breaks my heart." He got up, and walked out.

The large man was still holding his fist up. "Well I told you. It must be that time of the month. You better go buy her some chocolate mate." The man smiled.

"Shut up!! You stupid bloody pig." John ran out after Sherlock.

When he arrived outside, no Sherlock. John thought that he must of got a cab. So he started running, besides, the flat was only a couple blocks.

John was gasping for air. "Oh God I'm out of shape." He dug around in his pocket for his key. Then he realized that Sherlock was already home. He reached for the door, but instead it swung open. It was Mrs. Hudson.

"Oh John. I didn't know what to do! He came in and ran right past me." She motioned upward. "It looked like he was crying. It's not like him. What sort of horrible person could do that to him." She confessed.

John pushed the door open farther and started heading up stairs. He turned around and looked down. "I know what kind of man it was Ms. Hudson." Then he started back up.
