When people say to forgive and forget, you can never forget. Forgetting is practically placing a delete button in your mind, or a backspace to life. I can never forget, not this time.

"Come on mom! We are going to miss the flight!" I shouted while stumbling down the stairs. It was my first time moving out of the state of Texas. Connecticut, here I come!

"One second sweetie! I'm still packing my last bag!" she announced. I wonder how the new school will be or how they will treat me.

When I got off of the plane with my enormous bags, I peered to see a shadowed figure in the corner of the airport.

As soon as I blinked, the figure disolved and I was blankly staring at the poorly painted wall. I shook it off and walked over to the baggage claim hoping to clear my mind of all unusual thoughts of my new home.

I hopped into my car looking forward to my new home. My mom pulled up to a tan, two story home and my mouth dropped. I've never lived in a two story house!

After my dad had disappeared and found dead, me and my mom had moved into a smaller house. The police never found out what happened to him but I can tell it wasn't good. My dad had been found in this dark cave with no signs of how he died, but my dad was a great person and wish he would see me go to college right now.

"Wow!" was the only thing that could escape my mouth as I stared at the tremendous building that stood before me. My mom turned around in her seat and slipped a smile. "Is this it?" I said in shock.

"Sure is." She identified. I gripped the door with so much force that my hand turned red. My life can finally take a turn.

I pushed the car door open and climbed up the stairs. As I stepped up the stairs, I noticed the black figure in a room on the second floor. It looked like the one in the airport, but I drowned it out anyway with the sound of my mom opening the door. I stepped into my gigantic house and immediately noticed the aged chandelier that looked at least a hundred years old. Everything else looked fairly new and was my mom's style.

"Where is my room?" I questioned.

My mom gestured upstairs and I went searching for the room with my enormous speakers I dreamed of. I peered into a gigantic room and saw a big blue speaker with glitter. I freaked out and realized that my room was perfect!

I lied down on my bed and heard my new door slam shut. I turned to see my mom standing behind my door. "You scared me mom." I said startled by her appearance. She then walked over and sat on my bed.

"So, are you going to stay in the house with mom or go run off into a small dorm?" She looked at me with such desperation that I couldn't turn down.

"I think I can get used to this place." I new that if I went off to college, my mom will throw a fit and visit me every day at Northern Park College. My mom did a little jolt and quickly hugged me.

"Yay! It can be mommy and My sweet little Katie again." She looked at me with a excited face and continued,"Right sweetie?" I smiled and gave her a hug.

"Always." I assured her. I picked up my bags and started in packing my clothes. As soon as I placed my heavy bags on my bed, I heard my door bell ring and I rushed to go get it. Almost tripping down the stairs, I managed to get to the door. I fiddled with the handle before I could actually get it open.

I opened the door, and looked up to see a tall brunet guy with light skin, his features were so attractive that I caught myself staring. He was almost like a paragon of my dreams.
