Emilie~

Francesca and I had immediately taken a break from the fight to see Cat. She had passed out from pain and blood loss, her chances of living would have been slim if Tony didn't pick her up and fly her to the S.H.E.I.L.D facility.

Francesca and I waited for about ten minutes, to see if Cat would wake up. Of course, she didn't and we would have to get back to fighting soon. I heard the distant beep of her heart monitor, wondering if it would stop when I was out in Miami or New York, fighting.

I know that Cat is evil and everything, but she is still my friend. There was still a chance she could grasp reality and realize that her and Loki couldn't rule Earth, or Midgard as they call it. Such a weird name...

My mind drifted off until a heard the heavy metal door fly open and Loki rushed in. "How did you get into S.H.E.I.L.D.? Don't you have a war to loose?" I asked/yelled. "Shut up you mewling quim!" Loki sneered. I put on my 'I hate the world' face. Loki rushed to the bed where Cat was asleep. Her hands and feet restrained to the sides of the bed with straps of leather.

"Why haven't you useless mortals left yet?!" Loki yelled, clearly annoyed. "We aren't useless, you did loose against the Avengers, an you are about to again!" Francesca retorted. "Whatever. We need to get back out and fight more." I replied. I hated being in the same room as Loki.

Francesca and I walked through the metal doors and exited the infirmary. Fury was at the center of the helicarrier, looking down at New York. Fires blazed throughout the buildings and a saw a distant explosion. Must have been a 'bomb buddy' as Tony would put it.

Fury snapped me out of my thoughts by barking orders at me. "Francesca, go back to Miami! Emilie stay here in New York. We need backup." "Yes, Sir" we chanted and I said a quick goodbye to Francesca, then made my way to the doors and jumped into the city, because I still had my suit on.

I flew above the city, blasting aliens with my repulser rays, but they were genetically modified, so they just got some scorch marks on their skin and they fought more. Every explosion was one alien getting mad, causing their own death.

I hadn't thought about were the civilians were, until I heard a cry for help. I dropped from the sky and landed on my feet. I ran toward the building that I heard the voice from, and saw a girl that was about fourteen. Her foot was caught underneath a huge piece of metal. Her breathe was short and ragged, I knew that somewhere she was loosing blood, an she didn't have much longer to live.

Using my super strength acquired from the suit, I lifted them metal and she jumped up, glad the be free. Scarlet colored blooded gushed from her foot, where the metal cut her. I didn't have anything to stop the blood with, and time was running short. She collapsed to the ground, passed out. Her curly brown hair was covered in rubble. I called through my ear piece, asking for someone to take her to the helicarrier to heal. Hawkeye responded. I couldn't take her because I had to see if anymore people were in the building, which looked like a Grocery store.

Hawkeye was at the building in a matter of minutes, with a jet to take the girl to the helicarrier. I loaded her into the plane with Hawkeyes help, then I went back into the store, in search of more civilians.
