I sigh and my mouth opens,
No words come out and I begin to frown.

Wider and wider, my maw it gapes.
And I pray it won't dislocate
And a silent gust of air escapes
And thankfully my jaw does not break.

Tears flow freely from my eyes,
Though, in truth, I do not cry.
My restless thoughts flow from my mind
And with a yawn I end my sigh.

I stretch my arms and look to the sky
As my drowsy eyes chase that yawn of mine.

A cloud forms and winks at me,
Full of yawn and dreams,
I lie awake but some will sleep:

This yawn has paved the way to slumber
And I slowly fell myself dragged under...
