A/N: I made this while roleplaying with a friend so if there are any mistakes, don't hesitate to (nicely) point out please. Thank you. Also, I may continue it. Who knows? And they may seem out of character so I apologize. Also, again, I know little troll terms. Like their hive, and such. But as far as kitchens, nope. So again, I apologize.
Credits: I do not own Homestuck nor do I own Eridan Ampora and Sollux Captor. All rights belong to Andrew Hussie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The purple highblood nervously stood before a familiar yellow hive. He knew who it belonged to and made plans with the troll beforehand. All this highblood had to do was knock the door and maybe the nervous feeling in the pit of his stomach would disappear.
For a few months, no, perhaps more than a few months, Eridan Ampora has been feeling lonely and tired of everyone looking down on him with hate. He knew the troll in the hive probably hated him too, but Eridan felt as if he had red feelings for him. He wanted to see if he really did like the troll as he thought he did.
Approximately ten seconds after Eridan knocked on the door, a troll with blue-and-red-lensed glasses opened the door. "Oh. Hey Eriidan," Sollux said with caution. He didn't know why the troll he hated most suddenly wanted to meet with him, but he agreed anyways, mostly interested in what the highblood wanted.
Eridan nodded in reply to the unwelcome greeting, then walked inside the hive and closed the door behind him. 'To be honest, I reely didn't givve the poor lowwblood an explanation as to wwhy I'vve suddenly made plans wwith him,' he thought as he sat down on a human bean bag Dave had gotten Sollux during an party they have every so often. 'Oh wwell. Just another wway to make him wwonder.'
The yellow blood walked into the kitchen to fix themselves a snack, but he couldn't concentrate. His mind kept going on about why Eridan, the troll he absolutely hated, was in his hive. Sollux angrily made their sandwiches, not bothering to ask what his guest preferred in it.
The anger in Sollux began to lessen, his thoughts questioning if he really did hate the highblood. If he actually had feelings for him. Noticing where his thoughts had took him, Sollux shook his head, as if physically moving his head would stop the thoughts from coming.
Meanwhile in the neighboring room, Eridan paced around the room, occasionally checking if his scarf was in place and if his cape was straightened correctly. He was a nervous wreck. It took so much self control not to leap into Sollux's arms and have him whisper sweet nothings into his ear. To kiss him tenderly on the lips. To have Sollux's love.
Snapping back to reality, Eridan realized the host troll was giving him a weird look.
"Get your damn 2andwiich," Sollux growled. This caused Eridan to slightly lose confidence.
"Wwhat kind did you make?" Eridan replied as he walked over and picked one up from the plate Sollux held. He looked between the two breads.
"I don't like mayo.."
"Get u2ed two iit, fii2hbreath," he growled as he bit into his sandwich.
"Wwhy should I? Wwe're not getting married so I don't sea wwhy I should listen to you evven if wwe evver do it, I still wwouldn't listen to--" Eridan stopped in his words. Too late.
Sollux froze mid-chew, collecting everything the highblood said. "Waiit what diid you 2ay?"
"Uh.. Nothing.." Eridan replied. He then quickly ate the sandwich, not caring if it had mayo. He wanted to shut up before he said anything else.
Sollux gave Eridan a disbelieving look and laid his snacks on a counter table. He argued in his mind whether or not to kick out the highblood. Still interested in what the troll wanted, he sighed heavily. He really wanted to know.
"Hey Sol?" Eridan said as he nervously sat down on the bean bag.
""What do you want, fii2h2tiick."
Eridan looked at the ground then to his shoes. "I'm bored... And lonely.."
Sighing, Sollux decided to keep his cool. "II'm not here for your entertaiinment, Eriidan. But whatever." After looking around, Sollux responded softer, "II'm bored two... And kiinda.. Lonely."
The highblood looked up at Sollux and chuckled. "Goin' soft, aren't wwe?"
Hearing that, Sollux slightly blushed, but gave Eridan an angry look. "2hut up."

A/N: A little time skip. Just imagine them talking as the time passes. Imagine Sollux joining Eridan with another bean bag and pulls out video games for them to pass time. Imagine them having a fun time but Sollux wins each round. Imagine Eridan not minding losing, but he acts like his pissed off so Sollux won't find it weird. Imagine all I just typed there. I'll begin the next chapter sometime later. But I'm working on it. Don't worry.
