New Secrets?

=•Sam's POV•=

I watched as Colby ran out into the rain, his clothes gained a new shade of darkness as he ran through the rain. Once he was in the rocky area he continued until he disappeared. Almost as if he tripped....

I turned and looked at the others.  

We all glance back and forth at each other until Elton speaks up. 

"COLBY? YOU OKAY?" He shouts. We wait for a moment. 

Nothing...

"We should go see if he's okay" I suggest, Corey nods, agreeing with me. Elton shrugs and starts walking towards the rain. 

We run over towards the rocks and climb up. Once we make it up to the top I stand in shock when I see Colby on the ground...

=•Colby's POV•=

My eyes blinked open at the sound of gasps in shock. 

My vision clears, to reveal Sam, Corey and Elton staring at as if I'm some supernatural creature or something.

"G-Guys?" I ask curiously, my head still spinning from the fall.

None of them said anything. Just stared, and stared and stared...

"W-What is it?" I stutter. None of them answered...

I gave up on asking and looked down a at my bottom half....

But when I did I saw I didn't have legs anymore.... they were replaced by a long, dark blue fish like tail. 

"Oh.... Shit" I swear as I look back up at the others. "Colby, what aren't you telling us" Elton says to me, not in a serious tone, but almost as a joke. "Yeah colby" Corey asks with the same kinda funny tone. "I honestly have no clue" I tell them as I move my hand to run it through my hair. 

"What are you?" Sam asks me curiously. "I..... I don't know, this is the first time anything like this ever happened to me" I explain as I kinda start freaking out. 

"I think it's official guys, Colby is a fish, I repeat colby is a fish" Sam smiles at me. 

"How do we get this off me" I say, change the tone to a little more serious. 

"Maybe it has something to do with the rain?" Corey suggests. "Yeah, maybe I need to dry off. It's wet everywhere, how would I dry off?" I ask them. 

"The cave was kinda dry" Sam reminds us as he gestures to where we started.

"Shouldn't we be freaking out? I have a freakin fish tail!" I say to them with a light laugh. 

It's funny how in shows everyone freaks out when this happens to them, but right now, everything was happening at once it was impossible not to laugh. 

"How heavy is that thing?" Elton asks as he gives my tail a little kick with his foot. "HEY!" I exclaim as I rub the area he kicked. "It hurts?!" Elton chuckles. "Of course it does!" I say in a sarcastic tone. Corey moves to the end of the tail and tries to lift it, then release and stumbles back. "Dang that's heavy!" Corey says in shock. 

Colby looks down at his tail and blushes. 

Elton takes a step away and towards the other side, he kept walking. 

"Guys.... The beach is empty" Elton says in fear. 

"No way..." Sam says as he walks to join ELton, Corey follows behind him. 

I try to look farther but I can't drag myself that far. 

"That's impossible, the entire school was there" Corey says in shock. "The lightning must have scared them" Sam informs them. 

"Let's get to the cave, then we can go from there" I suggest. 

"We'll have to all carry you" Elton realizes. I sigh and get ready as they get around me and try to find the best way to carry me.

"Lift on 3" Elton declared as Sam and COrey got ready to lift. 

"3,2..1" Elton said as they all held me up. 

It was slow but the tail does weigh a lot. 

It was hard going down to the beach, since I was up on the little hill. They had to move one foot at a time, because at any moment if one of them tripped or a foot got caught we'd all go down. 

Once we got to the bottom of the hill they put me down and took a breather. 

"The rain doesn't seem to be letting up" I say to them. 

Soon after I was in the air again. It was uncomfortable but how else was I supposed to do it?

Lightning struck in the distance, but it was so close the ground shake (I know lightning doesn't do that, just go with it) and we all went down. 

We moaned and groaned until we all sat up. "How close was that?" Corey asks in a weary tone. "Pretty close if we could feel it" Sam said as he dusted off the sand from his shirt. "Sam I think it hit the hill we were on, with the cave underneath" I told Sam, he nodded in agreement. 

"Let's keep going, Colby we need to get this thing off you" Elton tells us as he moves his hands under my tail again, getting ready to lift. Sam and Corey do the same and soon after I'm in the air.  

It took a while for us to cross the beach but soon enough we were in the cave. They put me down and I let out a big sigh. 

They all crashed on the ground. "Now how do I dry off" I say to myself. 

"Hmm... cause we totally don't have towels right there" Elton says sarcastically as he gestures to all our stuff we had brought into the cave. 

"Ohhhh yeah, I forgot about that stuff" I say sheepishly. 

Sam tosses me a towel and I start drying the tail. Sam sits beside me and watches as I run the towel over the tail. 

"How did this happen?" He asks me seriously. "I..... I don't know, my guess is as good as yours" I tell him. He nods as a bright flash of light comes from my legs. 

Then all of a sudden, I'm dry and my clothes are back. 

Everyone is staring at me. 

"Magic" I say with jazz hands. 

Elton lightly chuckles and shakes his head. Corey let's out a huff from his nose, one of those laugh huffs. 

"We can't tell anyone about this" I said, getting serious. 

"No shit, you'd be a science experiment" Elton points out. My eyes go wide with realization. 

"Let's make a pack, no one can reveal Colby's secret and we will protect him from all evil scientist, men people" Corey says as he puts his hand out. I put my hand on his. "It's my secret so I kinda need to protect it" I joke. "You saved my life, this is the least I can do" Sam says as he places his hand on mine. "I'm down" Elton says as he finishes the Pack....

"Fam 5 minus 1" Corey exclaims as he throws his hand in the air. We put our hands in the air...
