Here are some quick things about the story that you should know:

1) I'm not a professional writer so there might be some grammatical errors, so please just let me know and don't be mean about it.

2) This story is about Lynn and at some parts she may seem vain and childish but that's how she wanted me to write her.

3) At some point in the story you'll meet a character called A, A is the name she'll go by throughout the story.. Her whole name will remain a mystery... Even to me.

Thank you for your time reviewing this, I'm a short story writer mostly but Lynn's story came to mind and I couldn't abandon her, not even for a thousand episodes of ALF...

PROLOGUE

Ryker

As I stood over his limp body, I looked over my shoulder and saw her looking at me with pleading eyes almost fearful but what she didn't understand was that this wasn't over, this was who I am.

Nobody touches what's mine and she was mine, only mine.

Chapter 1

Ashlynn

"Lynn, what ya doing darlin'? Kat asked walking into the living room of our apartment and breaking my train of though.

Katania Annesley has been my best friend ever since third grade, when I was being picked on in gym class, she came right up to where my bully and I stood and got right up in the girls face whispering something I couldn't make out then shoving her so hard she fell flat on her back on the hard gravel. Ever since that day ten years ago, we have been inseparable and we're even referred to as "double trouble." It's ridiculous, I know.

"Oh nothing, I'm just thinking about graduation next week." I tell her walking over to give her a hug. We were always the affectionate type to each other, she is an only child who got everything her little heart desired except the one thing she wanted the most, the love of her parents, while I on the other hand have my parents, a big brother and a twin sister who showers me with all the love and affection I need but we aren't that well off money wise. Yeah I know the irony wasn't lost on me.

"We're still going together right?" She asked as she squeezed me tight patting my back while smoothing down my hair, "or did Bryce finally ask you?" She pulled back to look into my eyes.

Waiting.

"Ugh." I groaned, Bryce was my long time crush with his icy blue eyes, light brown hair, sharp jaw and his six foot two muscular frame, who happens to be my other best friend and the boy next door. "Kat he isn't interested in me, have you seen that guy? Like seriously he's way out of my league!" leaning back I ruffle her hair and walk over to the couch where I partially throw myself.

"Hmm, hmm, hmm Ashlynn Aurora Archer, how many times have I told you about that?" she scolds, walking over and throwing herself on the couch like I did, tuning to face me with a perfectly plucked raised eyebrow she continued, "you my darlin' are the splitting image of your sister." She joked.

I couldn't help the smile that broke out on my face; she always does that to annoy me. My sister Ashley lives downtown with my parents but visits me regularly and when she does Kat and her don't get along to well, I think they're jealous of who get more time with me.

"Well mi amor, I think that's an obvious statement seeing as how she and I are twins and all." I reply as I reach over and poke her ribs.

Kat is a bombshell with big blue eyes that remind me of my favorite beach, long blonde hair and a curvy but slim body finished off with a heart shaped face, she's stunning no wonder all the guys flock to her but she never seems to notice.
