"Well Deidara I didn't think I'd ever talk with you again," the Tsuchikage stated moving toward Deidara and me.

"Yes well, to be honest, neither did I," Deidara said chuckling a bit.

"Well you kids said you have a reason to be here so out with it already." the Tsuchikage asked, his voice growing sinister.

"Long story short we'd like to join your village," I stated bluntly. Hearing this the Tsuchikage burst out laughing, only to stop when he noticed we were both being completely serious.

"If you think I'm going to let two S-ranked criminals into my village-"

"Correction two S-ranked criminals who've worked for your village in the past," I corrected crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"Yeah old man beside I've known Deidara since I was little, we practically grew up together," Kurotsuchi said smiling.

"But didn't the Kazekage say you were sand shinobi?" Akatsuchi asked.

"Technically we were but Garaa has already allowed us to leave the village," Deidara replied placing his hand on his hip.

"Oh alright, wait for us outside." The Tsuchikage reluctantly agreed. Deidara looked down at me and I smiled in return as we left through a newly made hole. As we walked away I swear I could hear one of the samurai complain about the extra mess we just made. Soon we made it out of the building. Deidara leaned up against the already cracking wall while I fell back into a fresh snow mound.

After a few moments of comfortable silence Deidara spoke up, "Yang get up you'll catch a cold if you stay there."

"Aww but Dei it's comfy, plus my feet are sore!" I complained in a childish voice closing my eyes. I heard Deidara sigh followed by the sounds of footprints coming closer. When I opened my eyes I saw Deidara standing above me holding his hand out to help me up. As I reached for his hand an idea came to mind. Once I had a firm grip on his hand I yanked him forward causing him to fall on top of me hitting the tree behind us as a fresh heap of snow covered the two of us.

After a few minutes, we both managed to claw our way out of the snow pile and flopped onto the ground.

"Dammit Yang, are you trying to kill us," Deidara said panting.

"Who me? I'd never dream of it," I replied sounding slightly hurt, which was immediately followed by laughter.

"Come on you two off the ground, we've got a long journey ahead of us," the Tsuchikage said walking by Deidara and me who were still on the ground. We picked ourselves up and brushed off the snow as we followed behind the Tsuchikage and his group.
