So, I haven't updated in over 6 months. That's why in the description it says updates whenever!

Haha, please don't be mad at me. Better late than never. Right?

Okay, so to all of you who wanted something bad to happen to Astrid, the time has come!

I have another one shot in the works. I'm just struggling to end it. I'm very good at starting things, but not that good at ending them.

This one shot takes place before everyone knows about Traitor Johann. Man, I'm pissed off because of that guy.

So, there may be some mistakes in here, just an FYI.

Anywho, this one shot is 5206 words! Enjoy, cuz I don't know when I'm going to update again!

Third Person PoV

Today was the day when the council on Berk, Defenders of the Wing, Wingmaidens, Berserkers, and Outcasts were holding their big meeting about Krogan and Viggo.

Hiccup was pacing in his hut, absolutely nervous.

What if the Dragon Flyers took over their bad while they were on Berk for the meeting?

As the leader of the Dragon Riders and the chief's son, he was required to be there.

As he was panicking and thinking of all the possible scenarios, Astrid walked in.

She snapped her fingers, bringing him out of his thoughts.

"Hiccup, are you okay?" She asked him as she walked over.

"No." He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "What if the Flyers take over the base and we fly right into a trap?"

"If it'll make you feel better, I'll stay here." She offered.

"You will?" Hiccup asked her, a weight being taken off of his shoulders.

"Yeah, you'll only be gone for two days." Astrid reminded him. "If the Flyers do end up coming, I'll hide what I can and head to Berk to warn you."

"Thank you." Hiccup hugged her.

"Anytime." She smiled at him.

Fifteen minutes later, Astrid was watching her friends fly away towards Berk.

She spent the first three hours of her time training, patrolling, and cleaning up a mess that the twins created in the Clubhouse.

Why can't those two ever clean up after themselves?

As Astrid was walking to her hut, she saw Trader Johann's ship docking.
