Come And Go (Sequel to Unpredictable)

Chapter 11

Niall's POV

I didn't know who this Craig was but he was certainly getting on my nerves, he seemed to be in every lesson with me and Liam and never stopped talking so I couldn't even get a word in. The amount of times I tried to slip a comment in but was outspoken was ridiculous, and Liam didn't care! He was too busy listening to this Craig rambling on with himself. I so badly wanted to walk over to Liam and smash my lips on his, forcing Craig to shut up and let me speak to my boyfriend. However, I couldn't. It'd create too much fuss and things would kick off in school, I couldn't have that happen again. Not to mention that creep being back, he'd love to see me struggling again. I sat drumming my fingers on the table, hoping and praying for the day to be over so I could spend some time with Liam. I was really craving his cuddles, when he was writing or talking his arms would slightly tense at the contact with his pens. I just wanted to hold and squeeze him tight, let him know how much he means to me and finally get a kiss that I've been deprived of all day. I stared up at the clock and yelled loudly when the bell finally rang, I was more than excited to get out of this hell hole. It was the first day back and I hated it already. I grabbed my bag and flung it onto my back as I chased Liam and Craig out of the classroom, they were walking at top speed practically running from me. I caught up with them and reached out to grab Liam's arm, however I was shoved sidewards by Zayn who slammed me into the locker. I shot round and shoved him back,

"What the fuck?" I yelled, he burst into fits of laughter.

"I just needed to know if you had a light, I forgot mine." I rolled my eyes and pulled my lighter out of my pocket,

"I'll let you use it if you give me a cig, I've got none at the moment." He nodded his head,

"Deal." We walked out of school and I took the cigarette from him and placed it in my mouth, I retrieved the lighter and lit up my fag. The familiar orange glow appeared underneath my nose and I stopped by the gates, searching round for Liam. My eyes flickered back left and right however there was still no sign of him, he was supposed to be coming back with me but I guess not.

"Wanna give me a lift mate?" Zayn asked, nudging my arm. I sighed and nodded,

"I don't see why not, Liam's ditched me." He began mumbling some random crap that I didn't pay attention to and climbed into my car, Zayn hopped into the passenger seat and I sped off. The volume was switched up high and the roof was down, it was a particularly warm day so the weather was nice enough to have the roof down. We head nodded along to the music as we stopped at the traffic lights, singing along to the odd line. I'd forgotten all about the various reasons I had to hate Zayn at the moment and just embraced our friendship, we'd always been really strong friends. Ever since we were little. I turned the corner and stopped outside his house, he jumped over the door and onto his front, pulling his bag along with him.

"You coming in?" I shook my head,

"I need to go see Liam." He began pulling kissy faces at me so I decided it was a good time to leave, we shouted goodbye to each other and I hit the pedal and flew down the street. It didn't take me long to reach Liam's house but I was confused when I pulled up, I could see the side of Liam in his window and he was laughing, however his mum's car wasn't in. I continued to watch him however he just walked away, so I decided I'd pay him a surprise visit. I scurried up to the door and placed my hand on the door knob, I turned it slowly and entered, silently closing the door. I heard him chuckle in the living room so I pushed the door open and entered, however I wasn't greeted by Liam's welcoming arms. Instead he was sat on Craig with an upturned bottle of water, soaking his school clothes right through. He shot off when he saw me and raised an eyebrow,

"Niall, what are you doing here?" Craig turned and smiled at me, I just turned away not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"I came to see you, I didn't know you had company." I replied, giving a look of disgust to Craig.

"Sorry, but he's staying for tea. Mum's just out buying the ingredients now." I nodded slightly, trying not to show how frustrated I was. All I wanted was to spend some time with my boyfriend, the one person I loved. Yet here's this other guy who's just waltzed in and completely taken over my spot.

"Enjoy yourself." I snapped, turning on my heels and leaving the house. As I approached my car I noticed a piece of paper on my seat, I picked it up and climbed in before opening it.

'Looks like you've been replaced eh ;) you could always have me - I'm always around.'

My eyes widened and I threw the note aside, not again. How does he know about Liam being with Craig? How did he know I was coming here. I raised the roof back on my car and locked all the doors, he could be lurking anywhere and here I am sat out in the open. I took one last look at Liam's house before deciding a trip to Harry's was needed, especially after getting that note. I took my phone out and found Harry's contact number,

'Be at yours in 10, just got another note from him. He's driving me crazy xx'

I chucked my phone aside and drove away from Liam's house, I still couldn't get over the fact he wanted to spend time with Craig instead of me. I hadn't had any contact with him all day since our little encounter this morning but that was it, surely he would have had the same cravings as me. He was always up for a cuddle, but clearly not anymore. This Craig guy had got him pretty caught up, I have to say he is pretty good looking but he should know that Liam isn't exactly available. Even without Liam confirming we are in a relationship.
