Chapter 1

I stared at the back of his gorgeous head. It is so perfectly shaped. Who needs to focus on the dumb math test that counts as like 3/4 of our grade. Oh, god, he's getting up. He just smiled at me! But it was, like, one of those hot-half-no-teeth kind of smiles.

Let me tell you about myself. My name is Gia, and I'm a twin, i have an older brother named Tyler, and my twin's name is Gabrielle. My middle name is Rose. I'm 17 and my very best friend is Matt. And I have a huge crush on Mason Lancaster!

Matt has been my best friend since fifth grade and we know everything about each other. He is good friends with Mason too, so sometimes I try to hang out with Mason. Of course, then i play it cool and normal.

The bell just rang and we have to hand in our tests. I scrambled to put my things into my bag.

"Here, i'll give your test to Mr. Snordile," Mason said. I looked up and he was standing right next to my desk. His tight t-shirt was clinging to his fabulous muscles. I felt my cheeks getting hot.

"Thanks," i smiled.

"No problem. Hey, do you and Matt wanna sit with me and the guys at lunch?" He slipped his hands into his front pockets. "Only if you want, I mean." Mason blushed and looked at his feet.

"That'd be fun," i grinned and waited for him to bring my test to the teacher.

We went to our separate lockers and then he waited for me as i scrambled to find my lunch money. We then caught up with Matt and told him the plan. Then, all three of us walked to lunch together. Matt and I bought our lunches and walked over to Mason's table. There were two seats left, but not next to each other. I ended up in between Mason and Bella, Jacob's Girlfriend. Jacob Casterf\ is another one of the guys' friends.

Matt sat between Ryan and Mason. The boys all messed around together and were trying to throw grapes into each others mouths. Bella and i talked about classes and the guys. She told me that it was almost her and Taylor's 6 month anniversary. But, then the guys ran out of grapes.

"Im gonna buy a cookie, anyone want something?" Matt asked as he got up. Everyone said no and Matt got into the lunch line. He quickly picked up a conversation with a girl i recognized but didnt know the name of.

"Are you and Matt secretly dating?" Mason asked.

"No... Why?"

"You seem kinda jealous of that girl," he shrugged.

"I like someone else... he doesn't like me like that anyways," I blushed.

"Yeah he does," Jacob interrupted. Ryan slapped him on the back of the head.

"He does?!" my eyes went wide. I feel so bad, I always talk about Mason. I'm always going on and on about Mason, but Matt likes me?! I can't believe I didn't know.

"Yeah, but it's only a small crush. He said he'd never ask you out, you guys are too good of friends," Mason reassured me. I sighed. I feel like a mean person, what if I hurt Matt? Or... guys aren't sensitive, right? As long as the guys don't tell Matt that i know he likes me, our relationship hopefully won't change...

I was startled out of my thoughts by my twin, Gabrielle. She was shaking my shoulder. I got up and followed her over to the vending machines.

"You never told me you were sitting with Mason! Are you dating?!" she gushed.

"We're just friends," I shrugged.

"Do you still like him?"

"Of course!"

"I'll hook you up, " she gave me a sly smile.

"oh god, don't do anything embarrassing," I begged.
