He is exhausted
He is in a constant state of lassitude that he can't wear off
The world is upon his shoulder and he is under the weight of the mountains
He feels the weight of the lives he is not living
The pressure is suffocating.
The praises and compliments that are laced with expectations and rumors
The boy is exhausted for he keeps running without a pause
The boy who is exhausted
Is also the boy whose mouth rots with lies
He lies when he says he is fine when you can clearly see the bags under his eyes
He lies when you see he is full of energy, but notices the subtle insouciant little actions he do when he sees the floor spinning below him
He lies when he put others before himself, when all he wants is to hear are the words someone is there for him, and only him.
He lies when he says he wants to keep moving.
He lies.
But let's believe in those lies
Because what else can we do but live in the smoke and mirrors he created
Live in the reality of the naive
Until those lies will not become lies anymore
Until someone is finally there for him and only him
Until his smile doesn't need all the force he has left to muster the uplifting of his lips
Until he can get out of the pressure and return as a diamond
Or until those lies breaks him apart like how pressure can burst pipes
