Ah yes, it was July 16th again, the day of my birthday. Also the same day that always seems to go wrong, no matter what I do or where I go or who I go with, nothing ever seems to go my way and this year has been no different.

Climbing onto my bed I grabbed my computer and messaged back fans on Twitter and Tumblr thanking them for wishing me happy birthday. All of these strangers could remember my birthday but not the person who I've been crushing on for about a year now. That's fine, I'm use to being forgotten and ignored already. With a sigh I shut my computer and fall into a deep sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waking up with a start I looked around frantically as I heard music blasting from somewhere in my house. Jumping out of bed i went to look around my house, hands shaking as i searched every room for the source of the noise. My nerves were on edge as i walked into the living room and saw nobody in it but the stereo system was on.
It took me a few minutes to calm myself before moving anymore and that's when i realized what song as playing... Birthday Cake by Rihanna? I walked over turn off the music and right before my hand pressed the off button someone burst into the room and started to chant Cake Cake Cake Cake along with the song.
I swung around only to see a twerking Calum with his hands out in front of him and butt in my direction. I couldn't remove my eyes from him and i could already feel my face begin to heat up. I jumped back a bit as Calum stood up and swung around to meet my gaze, I looked down at him as he smiled with that cheeky grin of his he always wears.
"You didn't think I forgot you birthday did you!" he laughed as he pulled me into a hug, I stared blankly ahead in too much shock to do anything, my face felt like it was on fire and i couldn't even begin to form a reply. Calum grabbed onto my hand and started to lead me upstairs "Come on Luke, I've been dying to lick the icing off all day!" he said excitedly.
I just laughed and followed him upstairs into my room and that was when I noticed.... he didn't bring a cake.... I think I might actually like my birthday this year.
