Awake

I wake up in a room. The room has no doors or windows. The walls are painted white and im laying on a wood floor. The room is empty, except for a large wardrobe against the wall. "I don't kmow where I am", I think to myself. I get up and walk to the wardrobe, because its the only thing in the room.

I run my fingers across the wooden edges. There are two mirrors on the two doors. I look at myself and im in a blue t-shirt and jeans. I put my hand on the handle, and something bothers me about it, like I can't remember something. I open the door and a blast of warm air comes out, smelling like rivers and pinecones.

I step into the wardrobe, not knowing why. I put my hand in front of myself expecting to feel the wooden back of the wardrobe, but I don't. I walk through the furry coats and I still dont feel the back. I keep walking and walking untill I trip on something that felt like a rock and fall into something dry a d crunchy.

I get up and realize im in a forest. I look around, very comfused. It was in the middle of the day. There were tall trees everywhere I looked. And then I saw it. A huge castle stood in the distance. It looked old and there were many towers. I walk torward the castle because I have no other place to go.

I walk through the forest, and then I hear a train and voices. I ran because I was getting sick of the forest. I sprint untill I come to an opening and I see a platform, with many kids coming out of a red and black train wearing unusual robes. Then I realize I have the same robes on.

I walk into the large crowd and I see a very large man with a very large beard. He is holding a lantern and telling "first years" to go to the docks and get on a boat. I walk to him. "Excuse me, but, where exactly are we?" I ask the large man. "Why, Hogwarts o'course." He says. I walk away still confused so I just head torward the boats.

As I'm walking the trail, I see a group of kids pulling pranks on everyone. I just ignore them and walk to one of the boats. I look up and its already night time. I go climb into a boat. It has a lantern hanging from a long metal rod and the boat is small and wooden. I sit there by myself and guess who sits down in my boat. The group of kids pranking other people climbed in and one said to me, "Hi, my name is Remus. What's yours?" I don't say anything because I don't remember anything, not even my own name.

"Hi, my name is Billy Bob Jenkins," says another. Laughing, Remus says, "His name isn't Billy Bob, his name is Sirius." "Why do you always have to take the fun out of everything Remus?" Complains Sirius. "Hey, lets be nice to him. I don't think he has any friends..." Says Remus. The two other kids sounded like they were fighting over how many chocolate frog cards they had, whatever those are.

"James, Peter, introduce yourselves." says Remus. They abrubtly stop fighting and one says, "Hi, i'm James." And the other says, "I'm Peter". Then they start fighting again. "Sorry, those two are always fighting about something." Says Remus. "What's your name again?" I quickly think of a good name to use, for this will be my name forever. I wonder if any other children had to pick there own names.

"Hello?" Says Remus. "Uh- Ma-Mark. Im Mark." Saying that name made me feel like I forgot something again. "Hi Mark. Want a jelly bean?" Says Sirius, listening to the conversation. "Sirius..." Says Remus worringly. "Its fine Remus, its just a jelly bean." I then realize im starving. "Sure, I'll have one." I say. He gives me an orange jelly bean with red dots all over it.

I pop it in my mouth, and the second I bite into it, I spit it out into the water. "What flavor was that?!?" I say. "Oh, I mustv'e gave you the vomit one. Woops", says Sirius, although I think he meant to give me that one. Just then, the boat started going into the lake and torward the castle.
