9 - not the cole i know and love

Kats pov
He had hit me right across the cheek, the look on his eyes was like nothing I'd ever seen before. He said his intentions were to come here and apologise to me, yet he see's me cutting myself because of him and he hits me? Yeh real nice guy. He looked me dead on in the eyes, I broke away and held my cheek whilst I hear the words "I hate you Kat" come
out of his mouth, I flinched. This isn't the Cole used to know and love, this is someone else, someone very scary. Cole walked out of my house, but he looked my in my eyes one last time, and his once blue eyes, were now black. The only person who would know why is his brother Dylan. I grabbed my phone and rang Dylan.
"Hey Kat" Dylan said through the phone.
"Dylan there's something wrong with Cole" I said seriously.
"How" Dylan's tone of voice changed as if he knew something.
"Everything was great between us, we were happier than ever. Then one day he randomly told me he couldn't do 'us' anymore with no explanation. Which broke me and lead me to smoke much more and drink to forget. Today he walked in on my cutting myself today and he hit me, his eyes were black Dylan" I said whilst crying.
"Kat listen to me in going to get the first flight out to LA, I'll be there soon okay" he said his tone full of fear.
"What's going on Dylan" I asked him concerned.
"Cole is bipolar Kat, and manic fucking depressive, when he has his good days he is happier then ever, one top of the world. But when he's sad and angry and he has his bad days he gets bad, scary, deadly and if we leave it for to long and don't put it to a stop we won't get him back and we will loose him. I'll be there soon Kat, just please keep and eye on him for me till I get there" he said seriously.
"Okay Dylan, see you soon" I said and hug up the phone. Cole bipolar?, and manic depressive, fuck. I no what this means I'm not stupid, he needs me, even if he caused me all this pain, he needs me.
