I need to get back out there . I need to stop moping about lily when it's obviously not going happen . I just wish this were easier I wish I just had the balls to tell her how I felt about her . I sat there moping some more when my phone vibrated

Texts to drew and Garrick

Garrick- hey going to a party tonight anyone joining me ?!

Drew-yeah I'm up to that

Shane- nah I'm going to stay home tonight maybe next time

Garrick- you've been saying that for two years

Drew- come on man you need to get over lily

Shane- fine I'll come

1 hr later
Garrick drove us to an old bar with music pumping out of the building and flashing light everywhere. I went inside and ordered some fireball and took my position at the bar alone. It must have been after my third glass of fireball that I started talking to this guy I don't Remember his name though but it certainly cheered me up a bit.

I woke up the next morning in my bed with a killer headache I nudged my arm
To see a phone number written on my arm with a name next to it reading Ryland Addams for the first time In a while I actually felt like I was getting over Lily .

Ryland
I headed down to marks bar and sat on side alone. I don't know why I agreed to go with joslyn and Erin in the first place I knew I'd just end up lugging them home in the end . I sat down gulping down my drinks and after a while I started chatting up this guy called Shane for a while . He was quite drunk but I enjoyed his company and he seemed like a nice guy . After about another two hours of talking I saw Erin vomiting so I knew that was the sign to go home . "Well I've got to take my friends home but give me a call some time " I said writing my number down on his arm and soon left the bar for good .

Shane
I decided to call Ryland. I dialled in his number and it began to ring
R: hello?
S: hi is the Ryland Addams
R: yeah who's this
S: it's Shane from the bar
R:oh yeah hi Shane what's up ?
S : I'm just wondering if you'd like to go out some time

R: yeah that would be great
S: great
R : so where do you want to go
S: I don't know we'll decide at the time
R: sounds good
S: yeah is Saturday good for you
R: yeah fine
S: ok I'll pick you up Saturday at 6 pm
R: great see you then
S: yeah see you then

I ended the call feeling good about myself feeling that I could actually get over lily and have a nice relationship with Ryland and I'm hoping it goes well .
