It was raining. The sky was tar-black and hardly there was a single soul in sight. Yet there she walked by - clad in black coat and a hat which hid her face. With an umbrella in hand, she was battling her way gainst the wind. She was late and she knew it.
Every now and then she would glance back. Someone was following and that was for sure. As soon as she rounded the corner of the street and quickened her pace, she was met by two men. Both in full black, loaded pistols in gloved hands.
"Think you can escape us that easily?", one of the man said.
"Move aside". She tried to walk past them but the way was blocked.
"Not before you hand yourself over to us, Beautiful!", he brought his hand forward, fingers gently caressing down her face. She batted his hand away with force.
" Oooh! she's a sharp knife" , the other man exclaimed.
" You never know what I might be. Let me go now It's already late".
" Enough feisty! You're comming with us", the man pointed his gun.
That was the moment when she lunged. Knives drawn forward, with one hand she beated the man poiting the gun at her. The pistol slipped from his hand. With her legs, she knocked him to the ground. In the blink of an eye, she brandished her knives at the other and slitted his throat before he could do anything.
The first man had stood up with his gun pointing again. There was a moment of silence as they both exchanged furious looks with narrowed eyes.
"Take one step ahead and you're done for", he threatened, " now drop that knife and hands up!".
She obeyed.
"Like a good girl", he appreciated the ease at which she gave up.
" No... like a boss!", she drew out another knife and hurled it at him. Her aim was perfect as the knife sliced through his ribcage.
Picking up her knives, she tucked them back into her coat and vanished through the night.
