"NOOO!!" I groaned as I stumbled to catch my balance.
It was the first day of senior year, and I was not excited, to say the least."Quit moping around and get up, we're going to be late!' My older brother hollered.
I ran downstairs to see Charlie, my brother, throw a granola bar and a bottle of water at me.
"Get in the car" He muttered.
I put my hands up as if I was surrendering before following him to the car.As we pulled out of the driveway, my eyes widened as I glanced at my brother's neck.
"Charlie, is that a hickey?!" I shrieked.
He smirked before replying, "don't worry about it"
As you can probably tell, my brother is that type of guy.
He had the perfect jawline, wild hair, and a smile that would make any girl melt.Well, except for me of course.
To me, he was a hideous hag who bosses me around. As we pulled into a neighborhood, I quickly began to realize that weren't going towards the school.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"We're picking up Monica, now go sit in the back"
"What, No!" I retorted.
Monica was Charlie's girlfriend.
Well...of the week.
It seemed like every week this guy had a new girl.
"Now." He said very sternly.
"That's it, Charlie! I'm going to get a ride from Nick"
He rolled his eyes before he was greeted by Monica.
They went from locking eyes to lips,
And I wasn't going to stay to watch.
I sat down in front of a tree to call and ask Nick for a ride.
Nicholas has been my best friend since the 3rd grade. We were inseparable, and as sad as it sounds,
He's more of a brother to me than Charlie is.
Before I could dial his number, I saw someone leave the house near the tree I was sitting in front of.And sweet baby Jesus was he hot.
And he caught me gawking at him.
"Shit" I cursed under my breath."Hey" he grinned at me.
"OH, hola!"
I mentally facepalmed myself. Since when do I speak Spanish?"Hola señorita, cómo estás?" He asked me with a satisfied smirk on his face.
And I said the one phrase I knew how to say in Spanish.
"No hablo español"
The guy broke into laughter, about to cry from laughing so hard.
And all I did was roll my eyes at him.
He was a golden brown skin tone, like me, and he had long curly hair up to his shoulders. His features were one of some sorta model's.
But that doesn't mean I like him."I'm Eliza" I said with a polite and genuine smile before extending my hand.
He extended his hand and grabbed mine before pulling towards his lips and kissing it.
"I'm Keith"
I pulled my hand back as rapidly as I could, watching a look of confusion take over his face."Well then, Keith, I'm not interested in playing those games"
"What games?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Having a brother who's a fuckboy, I know exactly how this goes" I snapped at him.
His eyes twinkled with amusement and a smirk appeared on his face before he replied,
"So you think I'm a fuckboy?"
"Yep" I nodded my head to emphasize my point. He took a step closer towards me.
He raised an eyebrow before responding,
"Why?"
"Because you look like one"
He took another step closer. Has this guy ever heard of personal space?, geez!
"So...you think I'm attractive?" He smirked once more.
That's it! I've had enough of this cocky guy."I've got to go, bye" I whirled around and crossed the street, making sure he was not following me.
He got into his car and left the area before I sat down in the grass and called Nicholas.
