Chapter 4

When i had gotten home that day, I ran straight to my room and layed down. I knew it was going to be a long day, but today was just rediculous.

I made no friends, like i intended to do, but at every turn i either say Amy or Jake. I couldn't help but wonder why Jake was even here. He was the worst loner ever, but all of the girls swooned over him. Amy was just a bitch. She thought she was just all high and mighty, and boy did it piss me off. Guys were all over her to, which is fine by me. I hate unwanted attention.

It was so difficult hearing things about me, and not being able to comment on them. The comments were all the same too; 'Oh the new chicks hot.' 'hey dude can i bag that?' or ' That girl is such a bitch. She has all of the guys all over her.'

That last one was the one i wanted to comment on. Guess who that came from. If you guessed Amy you were wrong, it was one of the cheerleaders who is BEST friends with Amy. You were close.

There's something about Jake. Don't ask me what it is, but he interests me. I think it's because he's a loner. Just like me. I might be overthinking things, but i want to get to know him more.

Then there was a knock at my door and a small boyish voice call out "Hello?." I've never heard the voice before, so i hid in the closet waiting to see who the boy was. When i didm't answer he took it upon himself to just enter my room. Bastard.

It was a little boy who entered my room. He was ADORABLE. He had dirty blonde skater boy hair, and beautiful blue eyes that widened when he entered. He raised his head just a bit, and sniffed the air, and dropped everything in his hand and turned towords the closet where i was hiding. I laughed and walked out.

"Oops, you found me. I should really work on my hiding skills." I said sitting on my bed, this little boy was no threat to me.

His eyes started to turn from a sparkling blue to a deep purple, a sign that not only was he a youthling, but he was angry. My eyes turn from a dull gray, to black. Pure and undiniably black. Which is very rare, and only 4 vampires in the world have an eye color like that. Only two of them live in the United States.

"You better back away little boy if you know whats good for you." I said getting up off the bed. I don't like being challenged, and i felt my eyes start to change color. He looked startled for a minuted, but growled at me and stood up straight.

"What are you doing in my room?" He asked through gritted teeth, trying to control his anger. Good.

"Little boy, this isn't your room. This has been my room for 4 years, and you must have made a mistake." I said laughing. He looked around and grimaced, which was so cute.

He held his hand out to me, and i took it and shook it. "My names Ethan. I was just recruited here, and i'm sorry. I'm not, nor will i ever be scared of you woman. But i know my manners. I apologize."

I was shocked. My eyes went back to a dull grey, that you could plainly see wiht my widened eyes. This little boy had balls.

"My names Kira. Nice to meet you, and Ethan, lets get one thing straight. I will always be stronger, no matter how much you train. If you dare to challenge me again i will not be so forgiving."

As you can see, when it comes to other vampires, i am a complete bitch. I never back down from a challenge, and i'm not afraid to speak my mind. His eyes widened slightly and he nodded his head.

"Understood. Now. Can you help me find my room Kira? Please?" He gave me a puppy dog look that made me internally say aw, and i nodded. "What is your room number?" He handed me a piece of paper, that was inscripted with a vampires natural language. He probably didn't understand.
