I was lying on my roof at four in the morning. I know what you're thinking, that I'm weird and crazy. I needed fresh air to think.

Doesn't everybody after their spouse cheats on them?

Dawson Arthur Crendin, point guard of the basketball team. I should've saw this coming, especially when the person he cheated on me with was my best friend. Lexee Smith.

Here I am looking up at the night sky. I searched the millions of white dots thinking how worthless I am. It's funny isn't, the two people I thought were important and loved me hurt me the most.

If they didn't care about me does anybody? It's a dumb thing to ask myself considering the family I have that supports me in everything I do but my family isn't going to be able to hold my hand through life for forever.

I sigh as tears start to bulge out of my eyes. I was on the verge of letting them out when a voice called, "Riss? I quick wiped my eyes before glancing around looking for the person who called my name. My eyes landed on the boy standing on the ground looking up at me, Sean.

Sean. My best friend since the seventh grade. We met in school and when we found out we both danced we were inseparable. Well until things got in the way. He got a girlfriend, Kaycee. Then I got Dawson. A piece of cheating shit.

"Sean?" I call smiling a bit. I don't know how but he always had this power of making me smile even in moments like this. "That's me, can I come up?" He asked. I was about to answer sure, when he started climbing up the side of my house. No he's not Spider-Man there's a ladder.

Once he got on the roof next to me he approached me with a hug. I returned the gesture feeling secure and cozy at the amount of warmth he gave off. "What are you doing here Sean?" I question. I dont mind him being here but it's kind of weird considering the fact we haven't spoken in months. "Can I not visit my best friend?" He joked. I raised my eyebrows at him patiently waiting for the real reason. He sighed and wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me close to him.

"I also came to check up on you" he tells me while looking at me intently. I turned away from him looking straight in front of me. I didn't want him to see me cry. It was a dumb thing to cry about. "Hey look at me" he whispers. I sigh quietly before facing him. "I'm kicking Dawson's ass" he said looking at me seriously making me laugh.

Once I calmed down I looked at him and his face was still serious. I leaned forward and placed my lips on his cheek before pulling away and smiling at him.

"I'm serious Carissa. I promised you anybody that ever hurt you was going to get killed and I meant it. So tomorrow during gym I'm kicking his ass along with Kenneth" he says sternly. "Why Kenneth?" I chuckle and look at him curiously. "He knows karate and plus we're in the same gym class as Dawson" he says. "Sean I missed you" I chuckle and pull my knees to my chest and lay my chin on my them. "How are you and Kaycee?" I question wanting to change the subject.

"That didn't last" he said bluntly. I looked at him and he looked back at me. "What happened?" I ask a little bit surprised. "She was cheating on me with Gabe" he said while looking into my eyes. I gazed at him studying his expression. He didn't have any hurt or water in his eyes. They were blank. "I'm sorry" I mumbled quietly. He nodded his head and moved closer so our shoulders were touching. "I missed you a lot Riss" he whispered while looking at me. "I missed you too Sean" I whispered quietly while smiling at him.

I haven't realized how much Sean's changed. His hair was somewhat shorter. I couldn't really tell if he was tanner but he's definitely more muscular. His jaw, don't even get me started on that magical piece of art. His eyes are the same though. The bold brown eyes that anyone can fall in love with. What in the hell was Kaycee thinking?

"So tell me, a fist in the face or a kick in the balls? Which is the best to start off with?" He asks smiling while mischievously raising that playful eyebrow. I sighed before running my hand through his hair and ruffling it making that goofy grin of his appear on his face. God I missed this so much, I missed him so much. "How about you just leave it be. I appreciate your sympathy but he's not worth it" I mumble quietly laying my chin on my knees again.

"It's not sympathy Riss. I'm fucking so pissed off right now. No one is allowed to hurt you like that and that fucking fucker is going to get twice of what he deserves. He needs to know who the hell he's messing with" Sean growled letting his clenched fists swing between his legs as he glared at the space ahead of him.
I grinned to myself while looking at the sky with flushed cheeks.

You see everyone needs a Sean Lew in their life. He's everything a friend needs and a girl wants. He's caring, loving, adorable but yet hot at the same time, and last but not least very annoying but in all the best ways possible. He's just an unbelievable human being.

"Hey?" His voice calls bringing me out of my trance so my full attention was on him. "We both have had a shitty month so let's stay up tonight and watch movies and cuddle like old times. I'll cook for you and we can rant to each other how hot Zac Efron is, alright?" He wiggles his eyebrows grinning widely at me.
"How could I ever say no to you" I childishly say and squish his cheeks.

He laughed loudly before tackling me in a bear hug and laying us down so we were laying down in each other's arms. Protected and Safe were the two words that perfectly described the warm sparks that sped all through my body. Not to mention the fact that he's so warm, soft, and snuggable.

"I'm still kicking his ass though. I might as well just kill him" he whispered huskily into my ear before burying his face into my neck and kissing it gently making my heart beat fast and my smile become wider.

"I missed you like hell Sean" I whispered before pulling myself into his chest as the tears streamed in waves down my face.

"Me too Riss, I missed you so fucking much. But it's ok we're with each other now. Everything will be alright, ok?" He asked removing his head from my neck to look at me. I nodded my head sniffling quietly as the tears slowly flowed down my cheeks and onto his hoodie. "Good. I'm never leaving you again. You're going to be seeing a lot of me from now on whether you like it or not. We both have fucked up lives but when we're together everything is just so much less fucked up. Let's just cuddle and hold each other aye? Besides we got a big lazy day tomorrow Rissy so let's just call it a day, k?" He says while laying his firm hands on my cheeks removing the tears from my cheeks and kissing them. "K" I smile while leaning forward and kissing his forehead.

He pulled me closer and ran his soft fingers through the strands of my hair.

"Actually now that I think about it, I can punch him in the face and Kenneth can kick him in the balls. There problem solved" Sean proudly beams smiling cheekily down at me. I giggled at him as I kissed his nose.

Oh what would I do without you Sean Lew?
