"Yeonji! Yeonji!" Someone yelled out, surprising her. Running up to Yeonji was that guy who sat behind her in class.

"Oh, it's you." She said, uninterested.

"What do you mean, 'oh, it's you'? I'm your friend, right?" He pouts, disappointed that his new friend wasn't as hyped as he was.

"If you were my friend, I should know your name by now, and I don't."

His eyes widen in realization.

"Ah! Haha, the name's Moon Bin, or just Moonbin, but you know. Pleased to meet you." He greets. Before she could say anything else, he grabs her wrist and runs out of school.

"Wha?! Oi! Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see!"

After a few minutes, they arrive in front of a hidden café, surrounded by tall buildings. It was very cozy when they came in, and had few customers. Even the staff there seemed nice enough.

Yeonji was shocked. 'How could he find such a nice place like this?'

"I don't know either! I just sort of saw it."

"Did I say that out loud?"

"Kind of. Hey, why don't you take a seat? I'll order. What do you want? My treat." Moonbin asked, making her shake her head.

"No! It's fine, I can pay."

"Please, Yeonji, I insist."

"You don't have to pay for someone you barely even met, Moonbin."

"But I want to."

Sighing, she grumbled her order and sat down. A few minutes later, he comes back with an order of cinnamon rolls, an order of strawberry shortcake, and two glasses of iced tea.

"Here it is!" He sets the tray on the table and sat down across from her. As soon as he sees her eyes, he lets out a little chuckle.

"Yeonji, your eyes are twinkling." No, he didn't find it cute.

He didn't. (Liar)

"This is my favorite." She quickly says, then takes a bite of her dessert. Moonbin does the same with his as well.

The two were shared small talk while they ate. Moonbin found out she preferred the indoors, and Yeonji found out that Moonbin liked dancing.

"The dessert here is delicious, isn't it?"

"Absolutely."

"Hey, it's getting dark out. I'll walk you home."

Yeonji shakes her head.

"I'll let you buy me cake, but I won't let you take me home. You'd have to take a train, and I don't want you to go through the trouble. You might fall asleep on your way back and miss your stop."

"I won't fall asleep!"

"You fell asleep in Math class."

"I- wait, how'd you know that?"

"Doesn't matter." She looked away from him. "I'm going home, Moonbin."

"Wait! At least just text me when you get home."

"I can't text you if I don't have your number, stupid." She freezes for a moment, then talks again. "Wait, that's not what I wa-'"

"Then I'll give you my number. Is that so hard?" He takes a pen and writes on the nearest thing, tissue paper.

Giving her the number, he grins.

"Go home safe, Yeonji!"

Yeonji's ears turned pink as she looks away, the number in her hand.

"Yeah, you too. Bye, Moonbin."
