Sitting on an old wooden bench surrounded by swaying trees, cheerful flowers and soft green grass, she had her head buried in her hands sobbing hidden by her bold, chestnut hair. She was so deep in her thoughts, she didn't realize someone had sat next to her until she'd heard a deep, smooth voice.
"Hello" the voice said.
She lifted her head and to her left she saw an unfamiliar face, he wore a white T-shirt and had dirty blonde, straight hair that covered his face.
"H-hi?" She said, puzzled
"Isn't this park beautiful?" he spoke, trying to make a conversation.
She had no idea why he was talking to her, but the more he talked the more she was intrigued. He complimented her deep green eyes and traced his palm along the side of her face. Unsettled by the sudden contact she tensed up, sitting upright. As the sun was setting he offered to walk her home, she was unsure of what to think of him and simply shook her head.
"I can walk myself"
He insisted on walking her home and took hold of her dainty hand.
"come one, I'll walk you home"
