"Psst, Kim Yeonji!" She heard someone call her. She takes a glance at the person behind her.

"What is it?"

"Do you have a calculator?" He asks.

"What?"

"A calculator, do you have it?" He repeats.

"No, I mean, why do you need a calculator in art class?" They were lucky the teacher wasn't in the classroom at the moment. It was noisy, because literally everyone else were talking, but they could still hear each other.

"I don't really need one. I just needed a reason to talk to you." He answered.

"Why would you need that?"

"Well, I just wanted to be friends with the the girl who transferred here mid-year."

"Uh, well, we're talking now. Good job."

"Are we friends now?"

"What?"

"Why do you keep making me repeat myself?"

"I don't do that."

"You just did."

"I- gah, never mind." Yeonji gave up on trying to meddle with him. After that conversation, she's figured out that he's one of the stubborn ones.

"We're friends now, okay?"

"Okay, I guess." She shrugged, focusing more on her seatwork.

"Alright! Since you're my friend, you'll go with me to the cafe, right?"
