The Summer of 2k16

This story is about an african american guy and a white girl who fell in love and summer changed that all.....but before we get to summer of 2k16 we have to go back to where it all started...

Chapter 1- How it started:)
It all started in summer 2k15(2k16 is later on:). We were in band camp and I didn't know him at all. We never actually talked that summer, but that fall when marching band started it happened. We stayed after school for practice and coming to school early for practice. One morning practice it was so cold and he gave me his jacket :). I didn't even ask for it. I remember I almost left with it on, until my friend said, "Whose jacket?'' The greatest thing ever happened! He said,"Check the pockets, I think I left something." It was a note saying, "I like you." I told him I liked him back and that's how it started :).

Chapter 2- Complicated: (
So u know relationships always have there problems right? In this chapter its way different:(

"Hey babe:(", I said. " Hey baby what's wrong?", he asked me. "I have terrible news" "What is it baby?" "My mom found out about us:(", I said sadly. "What!?Babe what does this mean for us?!?" I started crying and said, "She told me to break up with you:(" "ok", says while crying. He asked me if we will always be friends, and I ran away crying. I ran to the bathroom and my friend Jena came in there. " Maylee? Are u ok?", Jena asked. "No, my mom found out about me and Ethan:(", I said. " Omg I'm so sorry", she said. "I am too, we had to break up!" "I am so sorry:(, I know things will get better, she said. " I guess you're right"

Chapter 3- Secrets ;)
Maybe the secret is the only way

"Hey Maylee", said Ethan very happy. "Hey Ethan, you sound happy?" "I am!:)" "Why are u so happy Ethan?:)" I was literally so confused, but was hoping he was wanting a chance at a relationship again! "Well, Maylee I was wondering if you wanted to go out again? I really like you, and I care about you a lot. I know you're mom doesn't want us dating, but we can keep it a secret. :)" "Yes Ethan I would love that. We were happier then ever:))

Chapter 4-Sadly Secrets aren't the best:(
We kept our relationship a secret for a month and we were happy till....

"Maylee can u come here?", said Mom. " Yes", I say. "Did u and Ethan break up, or are y'all still dating?" "Why would you ask that?" "Well Maylee because someone told me y'all were together still." "I'm sorry Mom, I love him!" "You don't know what love is Maylee, and he is black! I raised you to date your color not others!!" My mom ended up taking away my phone for 2 months and I was grounded from boys for like 2 years. She was very disappointed in me. The sad thing is that... that never stopped me and him from being together.
We ended up breaking up because of my mom yet again and things changed, but our friendship never did.
"Hey Ethan" "Hey Maylee" "I can't believe my mom!" "I know, Maylee I feel like its all my fault we can't date." "No its my moms racism"( we laugh) " I guess you're right! I have to go see you later;)" "Okay, bye Ethan!"

Chapter 5- Couldn't resist
Have u ever met that guy where u just didn't care about the consequences...that was Ethan:)

"Ethan I have to tell you something!" "What is Maylee?" " I love you:) I don't care about what my mom says anymore! I wanna be with you" "I love you too! I wanna be with you too. So, will you be mine again?" " Yes!" "Just a question?" "Yes?" "What if she finds out again?" "I don't care anymore, dating other people isn't the same as dating u Ethan!:)" " Ok:))"

Chapter 6- Summer 2k16 is getting close
In the summer(which is 2 months) we will not see each other...as it grows closer we got sadder:(

"Summer is getting closer Ethan, this is the last week of school" "I know babe:(, I'm gonna miss you" "I'm gonna miss u too" The last few days of school were kinda sad:(. Once school was out I wasn't gonna get to see him for 2 months, that is gonna be hard.
Friday is sadly finally here (which meant last day with my bf for 2 months).
"Hey baby",Ethan said. " Hey babe, I can't believe this is the last day" "I know baby, but we are spending most of the day in Ms. Jones room to be with each other:)" "That's true:))" It was already 2 p.m. and that meant 1 hr left with him.:( "An hour left", I said. " I know". Just in that hour me and him got in a little fight. What a perfect way to end our last day right? We worked it out with an end of the day kiss:), so its all good.

Chapter 7- Summer 2k16 is here:(
Summer has started. For me its started of great. I have my wonderful bf, tanning days, swimming, what could happen?

Summer is here already:) Already it's tanning, swimming and going to friends house everyday for me:) I don't get to see my bf for 2 whole months, but I can text him.
"Hey baby", I say. " Hey babe, how is your summer?" "Good! How is your summer?" "Good expect I miss my Maylee:(" "Awe, I miss you too"  "I have to go Maylee, I have to help my mom at the store:(" "Okay love you babe" "Love you too" Even the little conversations a day means a lot!
Summer 2k16 started off great for me! Until...

Chapter 8- Continue of 2k16 Summer
I thought my summer was full of laughter, tanning, friends house, and swimming.....I guess I was wrong...

Not seeing my bf kinda killed me. In the summer it isn't always the same. Me and him didn't text as much, but loved each other.
A week or two into the summer things changed. 
I had about 3 to 4 guys text me like everyday. They would call me cutie or say let's hook up. I knew I had a bf,but at the time I guess I didn't care. I went along with them and what they said. There was this one guy that really captured my heart (or so I thought). We were texting and flirting everyday, until I realized I cheated:(. I was unfaithful to him. I told him finally after second guessing myself and that didn't go so well.
I was more ashamed at myself than I think he was at me. Here it is..
"Hey Ethan, I have to tell you..."
"What is it baby?" "I kinda cheated"
"Please tell me this is another one of your "pranks " right?" "No" "With who? How could you!?" "I'm sorry and his name is Zachary" "I can't believe this" We kinda talk and he was upset and I then I came clean about the other 2 guys. "Is this the right time to tell you..." "Tell me what?, go ahead it wouldn't matter I'm hurt anyways!: (" "There was 2 more guys" "That's it! (Says goodbye he is gonna kill himself) For half an hour I blow his phone up worried he did really kill himself because I was so stupid to cheat on him:((
He wouldn't answer, I was debating on whether or not to die too. Until, he finally answered.
" Sorry Maylee my phone died." "Okay, look I'm sorry really sorry." "Im just hurt that u would do that to me, after I tried to stop u so many times from killing yourself....after I loved u through your mom. Why me?" "I'm sorry!" This went on for a while. He said he forgave me. I kept beating myself up over this. I never forgave myself though....
"I am really sorry for real Ethan :(" " I know you are, maybe its best we just take a break. " "oh k" "Are u mad at me Maylee?" "No why would I? Be mad at you?, you should be mad at me! Disgusted at me, because of what I did! I kinda deserve this. Losing you because of what I did, what I caused? This is payback for me and I deserve it:):(" "I don't mean for it to be payback. We just need a break. After what happened its best. Don't beat yourself up. It is okay!" "Okay:(" "Friends right?" "Ya:((" "Okay talk to u later" "K" He went to bed right after. He didn't feel good. Who could blame him? I knew I did wrong, and I still know the wrong I did:(. We are friends. I haven't seen him since the wrong I did, but I know when I do I won't know what to say except sorry. We still text...
"Hey Maylee" "Hi" "Wyd?" "Nothing (actually crying but he doesn't know nor does he care :( ) " "That's  cool" "Yea''
That's usually where it ends at our conversation:(. I wanna tell him I miss him, but I know what I did was  wrong. A break was the right thing:). At least I think :) :( .
