"(Name)? (Name)!" her Highness called from her resting chambers. She continued to wait for her personal servant and guard but still received no answer. She let out a long sigh and looked at the door that had yet to be opened. "That child... She amazes even me..." her voice trailed off as she got off of her bed. Just as she reached for her door knob, it flew open to show the teen she had been calling for.

Her (H/L) hair shone a brilliant (H/C) as it was held up in a nice, small yet neat bun. Even though the older female could clearly tell that the girl ran up all the stairs in the castle, her (E/C) orbs failed to show any signs of fatigue, but that was what was expected of Queen Victoria's personal servant.

Her dress most certainly wasn't like a maid's uniform. It was a long sleeve, collared and white dress that matched the attire of the two butlers of the queen.

She gave a short bow with an apologetic smile. "I apologize, your Majesty. I was held up by the boys," she explained and stood up straight. "You called?"

"Ah, yes. I need you to go into town and fetch a few things," she stated, moving over to her large dresser to grab the small piece of paper that she wrote the list of items needed on. (Name) let out a soft sigh and managed a look of mixed disbelief and disappointment.

She joked halfheartedly, "So I'm a dog now?" The Queen laughed and shook her head as she came back, handing the younger one the list.

"Of course not! I already have someone in that spot, remember?" she reminded and they began their walk down the hall.

"I realize that your Highness," (Name) responded. She declared with a thoughtful expression, "You have been talking highly of them recently. It's just testing my imagination." Victoria rolled her eyes and chuckled at the other female's thoughts.

"Maybe one of these days you will discover more on the young Earl. But for now, you will remain in the palace," she finalized. "No one can learn that I have someone like you in my grasp. That would just cause problems here and there..." Her voice trailed off in slight annoyance.

The younger female assured as they arrived at the front entrance to the whole palace, "Don't fret, your Highness. I will do nothing of the sorts to show my abilities." The two stopped and (Name) turned to bow to the Queen. "I shall be back before you begin to miss me," she teased, gaining a small laugh from the woman in front of her.

"You have all the time in the world, my girl," she fired back. The (H/C)-haired teen pouted but said nothing else a she adorned her cloak, pulling the hood over her head in the process. "Off with you now, and don't forget to mail these as well," she added and pulled out some letters out before handing them over to (Name). Said girl safely tucked them into a pocket in the cloak.

"No problem. I suggest you go and eat your breakfast. It's growing towards noon, and we can't have you skipping any meals now," she reminded and took her leave before anything else was said.

How she loved the sights that greeted her eyes as she made her trip into town. Children running through the streets, chasing each other in whatever games they please. The smells of fresh-baked pastries and breads, people bustling past each other, trying to get to where they needed to be, the sky was much clearer that day than any other, the sound of hooves against the pavement wasn't loud and obnoxious to her but rather quite soothing.

Taking in a deep breath, she looked around, simply taking in the moment. It wasn't everyday she got to leave the palace and have a bit of freedom from orders.

But all that was quickly forgotten as she recalled why she was there in the first place. She had errands to run and had to be back so she could carry on with her duties in the castle.

Better get to it then. She thought and made her way around the corner and into the repair shop. The old man there greeted you with a kind grin as always.

"Nice to see you Miss (Last Name)! How have you been? Are your brothers behaving?" He questioned. You laughed in almost a nervous manner. The two 'brothers' he was talking about were actually the Queen's butlers. Of course, the old man didn't need to know that.

"I've been wonderful, Wilfred, and those two are as troublesome, as ever," she replied, looking down at the order. She notified, "I'm here to get that pocket watch I sent in earlier this week."

He said, "Ah, that's right. Stay right there love while I go back and get it." He walked towards the back. A small giggle slipped past her lips.

"Where else would I go?" she called after him and grinned when she could hear his chuckles from the back.

The bell rang, signaling another customer entering the shop. The girl glanced back casually at the young boy with a tall man following closely but thought nothing of them so looked back towards the way Wilfred left.

"I'll be out in a second!" he hollered, and the whole building fell into silence again. She could almost feel the young boy staring at her, but she just brushed it off and smiled at the man coming back into the room with something wrapped in a white cloth in his hands. He declared proudly, "Here you go, little miss! Good as new!" (Name) smiled at him and took it from him gratefully.

"Thank you. The money has already been sent, correct?" she confirmed but frowned when he shook his head.

"Sorry dear, but I received nothing." The girl sighed and opened her mouth to apologize but was cut off by a gloved hand reaching out, placing a small pouch full of money on the counter between the two.

The butler said and looked back at the young boy, "I hope this is enough." (Name) looked at them in disbelief and was about to thank them until the shorter of the two waved a hand dismissively.

He asked, completely ignoring her, "So, have you fixed the cane I sent in the other day?" She took that as her cue to leave, giving all three males a small bow before exiting the shop.

"Well that was wonderful," she growled under her breath as she placed the newly fixed watch in a different pocket of her cloak.

Soon, she had blown through almost all of the errands on the list, leaving only the letters in her hand. Glad that she was almost done, she rushed to the post office on the corner and nearly threw open the door. Quickly hurrying up to the counter, you brought out the papers.

The woman asked with a polite smile, "Hello miss. How may I help you today?" She returned the gesture and held out the letters.

(Name) informed, "I'm just here to mail these out."

"Alright. I just need the names of who these are being sent out to." The woman behind the counter said and got out a pen. The younger of the two nodded and brought out the list as well, looking at the name.

"Oh. It appears that these are all heading to the same person," she pointed out. "Mail these all to Ciel Phantomhive."
