Princess Star

Chapter 3

Well Thomas was furious when word got out that there was a cloaked figure named Star that fought against the Queen. 

  "What were you thinking!"

  "I was thinking that no one should die because of me"

  "Do you know how much danger you are in? Let's see shall we? You were already being hunted down as Sam and now you are being hunted down as Star! Do you really think she won't know it's you?"

  "I hope she knows it's me! You said it was my destiny to reclaim my thrown and that's exactly what I am doing!"

  "I also said patience! You are to young!"

  "I am nineteen and I have trained for so long! I am ready!"

  "You are a reckless child!"

I stormed out of Thomas's home and went home. While I was cooling down on my walk home, Demetria was screaming at her guards.

  "Why hasn't Star or whatever been caught yet!"

  "She is harder to caught than you think, your Highness"

  "Well try harder or I will start killing guards who don't get the job done!"

  "Yes your Highness"

  "Now get out of my sight!"

Agitated she let out a shriek that broke all the mirrors in the room. 

  "I will find this brat that is ruining my plans! Star, what a ridiculous name, well I assure you your death will be slow and painful. Along with that stupid girl Sam! Ah I know!"

She opened up her spell book and picked out a spell. 

  "Ahhh this will do just fine!"

She stepped back and watched as a shadowy figure appeared in front of her. 

  "Go find the girl called Star and kill her. While your at it bring Sam to me alive!"

The figure disappeared in search of Star and Sam. I was out side sharpening my sword when the creature appeared. It's eyes burned a red color and it's teeth razor shard with back liquid around them.

  "Ohhh no"

Is all I could get out until it shrieked out an ear periceing cry. It reached out a slaw and made a scratch on  my face. I was knocked to the ground by the blow and got up in a hurry. I grabbed my sword and jabbed at the monster and it just went straight through the creature. Realizing that the creature could not be harmed by a blade, I started to run past it. The creature let out a loud shriek and started to chase after me. I darted around trees and jumped over holes in the ground.  As I was running a boy ran right past me and I came to a halt.

  "Wait what?"

I turned around to see the boy running straight for the creature. 

  "Wait stop!"

Then a yellow ball of light flew from the boy's hands and straight at the monster. It let out one last shriek and disintegrated. 

  "What the .... Who the hell...?"

The boy started to walk towards me and I raised my sword. 

  "I mean you no harm princess"

  "How do you know who I am"

  "My name is Aron and I am an apprentice to a powerful sorcerer!"

  "Why did you help me?

  "I was sent by the sorcerer to aid you!"

  "Aid me?"

  "In taking back the kingdom of course!"

  "You can stop Demetria! You have the same type of abilities right?"

  "It's not my destiny to end her reign"

I let out a sigh. 

  "Of coarse, anyways what was that thing?"

  "A furly, a demon creature that hunts down whoever it's creature wishes"

  "So it was sent specifically for me?"

  "Yes"

  "Demetria that witch!"

Aron let out a laugh and we started to walk bad to the house together. 

  "Why were you sent to me know? Why not when she first took over? You could have stopped her before it happened?"

  "I was not fully trained yet and even if I was, the future would have been changed"

  "You can see the future!"

  "Well of coarse!"

  "What will happen to me?"

  "Now Sam I can not tell you that and you are smart enough to know why"

  "Worth a shot"

When we get to the house Thomas and Julia are there. I wave to them and then turn to look at Aron, but he isn't there. 

  "Aron?"

Thomas looked at my funny.

  "Who are you talking too?"

  "Aron he was standing right here"

Thomas and Julia both look at each other in a concerned way.

  "I'm not making this up!"

  "We'll discuss this inside we are starving"

I went into the kitchen and started to cook up a meal. 

  "Now what is this about your invisible boy?"

  "He is not invisible, he is an apprentice to a sorcerer"

  "He just randomly showed up?"

  "Yup"

  "I don't like the sound of this, I wouldn't trust him"

  "Oh I don't"

  "Good, If your invisible boy shows up again send him to me"

Julia let out a giggle and I just rolled my eyes at the old man's joke. After dinner Thomas walked back to his house and Julia decided to spend the night. She was curious as always and we spent all night talking.

  "Was he cute?"

  "Oh god come on"

She couldn't resist and let out a laugh.

  "Well? Was he?"

  "Ok I guess, but not really my type"

  "Then what is your type?"

  "Don't worry about it, let's just say he is all yours!"

I said with a grin and we both started to laugh. I knew that Julia had taken a liking to magic and was very fascinated by it. This made me a little uncomfortable, I knew Julia would never take interest in dark magic, but people tend to be taken over by it. Demetria was defiantly into dark magic, but I have heard off the good. I have never had the pleasure to meet a welder of good magic, probably because the ones who practice dark take over the good. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a friend that knew the good magic, now I just need to figure out which side Aron is on.
