Lupin and Weasley

Chapter 4 - Presents & Mistletoe

Snow was falling. Teachers were putting Christmas decorations up. It had now been over three

months since Victoire Weasley and Teddy Lupin had become boyfriend and girlfriend.

"What are you doing for Christmas buttercup?" Asked Teddy.

"I'm staying here. You're staying here to, right?" Victoire responded.

"Yep. Like always. You will love the feast." He said as she had never stayed at Hogwarts for

Christmas before; she had always gone to a friend's house.

"I love feasts. I have to go someplace though. I'll talk to you later sweetie." Victoire gave Teddy a

quick peck on the lips then went to her dorm. She had to order something for Teddy. She opened

her magazine and looked through it. Finally she found the perfect thing. She ordered it and when it

came wrapped it.

"Wake up Victoire. It's time to open presents." Said Emily. All the other girls had gone home.

Emily was going to go home but she said that then she would have to babysit her four year old

cousin who was the most annoying person in the world (according to Emily).

Victoire got up and saw her giant pile of presents at the end of her bed. She immediately started

opening them.

From her parents she got three books, lots of chocolate, a pair of earrings, and a

makeup set.

From her cousins, aunts, and uncles she got a total of ten books, and ten pieces of

jewelry.

From her mom's parents she got a beautiful necklace made of pink diamonds with a

bracelet, and pair of earrings to match.

From her dad's parents she got a pink jumper, a pie,

honeydukes chocolate, and homemade fudge.

She finally opened her presents from her friends. From Maddy, Sapphire, and Marie she got a pair of purple earrings, and a book. From Emily she got a phoinex.

"Oh, my gosh Emily! How did you get a phoinex?!?!" Victoire exclaimed. "They're only two left in

the entire world!"

"It was my great-grandfather's; Albus Dumbledore's. When your dad attended this school he was the headmaster. When my mom died she said to give it to someone special in my life. I chose you

because without you I probably wouldn't have been able to come back. My dad was going to home-

school me but I told him that a special person was waiting for me to attend Hogwarts again. He

agreed to let me come back." Replied Emily.

"Thanks so much. You are the best friend ever! Now I just have to open my present from Teddy."

Victoire took the present that was from Teddy. There was a letter which she opened first.

Dear Victoire,

Merry Christmas! I love you. Can you meet me in the common room at midnight tonight? Thanks

so much for the new Flash X 3000 broom. It must of cost a fortune! I'll see you at the feast.

Victoire smiled. She was happy that Teddy liked his gift. When she told her parents she was

Teddy's girlfriend they promised to pay for a perfect Christmas present for him. Bill and Fleur both

thought that Teddy was perfect for their daughter.

"Are you going to open it Victoire? You've been staring into space." Said Emily; annoyed.

"I'm going, I'm going." She replied. Victoire carefully pulled away the wrapping paper. When she

opened it she let out a little gasp.

"What is it?" Asked Emily getting impatient.

"It's a picture of our first kiss, and two pairs of earrings with two of the rarest gems in the world;

red beryl emerald, and black opal." replied Victoire.

Emily also gave a little gasp. "But those are supposed to be really expensive, and really hard to get.

How could he have gotten them?"

"I don't know. I have to go talk to him." Emily nodded as Victoire ran downstairs. "Teddy!" She yelled. "How did you get the earrings?"

"Well, I talked with your parents and they told me that they would buy those and give them to me to give to you. The picture I got from Emily."

"I can't believe my parents would buy them. Thanks so much." Victoire gave Teddy a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm going to get dressed; then how 'bout we go down to the feast?"

"That sound great. I'll see you in a few minutes." replied Teddy. Victoire ran back upstairs; she pulled out a red dress and put on red lipstick and green eye shadow. She finished her outfit with white cowboy boots.

"Wow Victoire; you look amazing." Said Teddy when she came downstairs. They hooked arms and went down to the Great Hall.

"Wow, the Great Hall looks amazing!" Gasped Victoire as they entered the Great Hall some twenty minutes later. She was right; there were ice sculptures, icicles, gigantic Christmas trees, and even fake snow. On the tables were steak, pudding, and lots of other Christmas foods; there were even Christmas crackers.

One hour later Emily, Teddy, and Victoire left the great hall; all of them with their stomachs full.

"Good night people!" Said Emily as she went up stairs. She was closely followed by Victoire. At midnight that night Victoire snuck downstairs. She sat down on a couch close to the fire and waited. What she didn't know was that there was mistletoe right above her head.

"Hi Victoire." Said Teddy as he came downstairs.

"Hi Teddy." Replied Victoire. Teddy sat down right next to her. He looked up and saw the mistletoe and smiled.

"There's mistletoe right above us. You know what that means?" Victoire nodded. "We must kiss." They both leaned in and, kissed. It was a few minutes before they let go but when they did they were both glowing. They quickly got up and ran up to bed. That night Victoire barely stopped smiling.
