*JASON'S POV*

It's the day before the dance now. I have a date, but no suit. I need to buy: a suit, a corsage, and I need to rent a limo. Tons of stuff to get done, and so little time. I drive to a casual apparel store, and see if there's anything I could afford that looks nice. I find something decent, buy it, and go back home.

Now for a corsage. I'll make that. So I make a very nice one from a bouquet that I have at home.. it's not much, but it's the best I can do with the money I've spent already. So, I can't rent the limo. Oh, great.

It's so much work to do, and quite the thing to tell her. I figure to tell her on the way to the dance, but it might kill our just-starting relationship. But I still need to tell her.

*ASH'S POV*

Ok, now I'm a bit scared as of what Jason wants to tell me. But it's probably nothing, I'm sure. I get home and walk up to my room, lay down on my bed, and start thinking: 'What does he want to tell me'?

I get to school. It's the day of the dance.. 8 hours left. I'll try and stay calm, but I'm not making any promises to myself. It's Homeroom, so I sit in front of Jason, as if it's nothing that he's trying to tell me.

After a long time filled with boredom (and sleep), I walk out of class, scanning the halls for Jason. He's got to tell me sooner or later.

- Jason?! Jason, where are you?, I yell from across the hall.

I see him look over to me. Then, he signals for me to come over. As I get to him, he grabs me and pulls me into the storage closet.

- Shh! You can't be too loud, he says.

- What were you trying to tell me the other day? I'm getting pretty curious.

- That's just what I want to tell you. You'll think I'm crazy, but it's true..

- Just tell me, I say furiously.

- Okay. Well, you have.. A gift.
