Galaxies in her eyes ~ Adopted by the Yogscast

~ Chapter 1 ~

Hello. My name is Galaxy, Gala for short. I'm 18 years old, and I have lived in an orphanage for almost 8 years now. I ended up in here after my parents died in a horrible car crash. I was in the car too, but I survived, I just got a scar under my left eye. About my eyes, they are why I got my name. I have a rare gene that makes my eyes look like galaxies. They are always changing colour, and sometimes they shine like a galaxy full of stars. They really compliment my pale skin and bright blue hair. I'm really short too, only 5 feet, and  I'm very beautiful. I don't believe that though, I think I'm very ugly, and so does everyone else who sees me. 

About this orphanage, or the prison that I have to live in. It is run by a mean old lady, we have to call her Mrs. Thunder. There is no other staff here to save us from her wrath. She hates us all, but especially me. Everyone here does, I don't know why, they just do. And I hate myself too. I've been hated since the moment I was born, my own parents abused me and told me mean things the whole time until their death. I was there to see it all, and I was told the crash was my fault. I was put in this orphanage, and no one wanted me because I'm ugly. So now I'm stuck here. Luckily I've had the Yogscast with me. They have made me smile, cheered me up and taken me to many adventures. I love them. I have to watch them in secret though. I have stolen a laptop, and can only use it when all the others are sleeping. And when I do use it, I just watch the Yogscast, and Hat Films, oh Alsmiffy is so hot. But that's enough of my backstory, it's time to start my actual story!

It was a normal morning in the orphanage. We woke up to Mrs. Thunder screaming downstairs like a siren. I get up and walk over to my closet. What should I wear today? I find a Yogscast t-shirt and some jeans. That should do it. I start walking downstairs to eat breakfast. We were never sure what the food was, some weird grey jelly, but I was only allowed to eat half of it, so I wouldn't get fat. I sit down alone and start to slowly eat my jelly. Some other kids sat on the table too, making fun of me. I tried to ignore them, but my eyes filled with tears. When I was done with my food, I ran upstairs, took my laptop and ran with it to the toilet. I had to watch the newest video, I forgot to watch it last night. I open up Youtube and click open the main channel. I gasp as I see the title of the newest video, it was called 'We're ADOPTING!'
